Plantlike Furniture

Last Sunday, Lucky asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek. He gave me 15 minutes to find him, Big Top, and Gwen.

Lucky: If you find all 3 of us in 15 minutes or less, you win! If you don't find everyone, we win!

It took me less than two minutes to find Gwen, who was trying to hide behind a sign post!

Another two minutes passed by before I found Lucky. He was hiding behind the lone unoccupied house in town. However, I had a hard time finding Big Top. It wasn’t until my third trip around town (with less than two minutes remaining) that I found him behind town hall. Still, I won the game, and Lucky rewarded me with a daffodil table.

Yesterday, Simon asked me for some “plantlike” furniture. Why doesn’t he just ask me for a plant? 😛 ðŸŠī

Simon: The best furniture is plantlike stuff, 'cause all you gotta do is plop it down anywhere...
“I just plop down flowers…”

His phrasing may be a bit awkward, but I’ve seen worse. Like when Portia asked me for TV-tastic furniture last year. Yikes.

Anyway, there wasn’t any plantlike furniture at Nook’s shop, at Redd’s shop, or in the lost and found. I tried giving him a mush stool that was today’s fake mushroom, but he wouldn’t accept it. So I ordered a holly bonsai for him.

The plantlike holly bonsai arrived in the mail today, and I took it over to Simon. He seemed to like it, and he gave me a lovely carpet to thank me.

Simon: This holly bonsai furniture is making me feel chiller already!

Rizzo had some very good news for me today: He wants to move out of town! I’m an understanding friend, so I encouraged him to follow his dreams and wander off to another town. 😉

Rizzo: I'm a wandered, and I can only stay in one place for so long.

I’m glad he’s not sticking around as long as he did in my New Horizons town! It took me over a year to get rid of him there!

I saw on the bulletin board that today is Queenie’s birthday. This game doesn’t have birthday parties or anything, but I decided to wish her happy birthday in a letter. I even bought her a hamster cage and attached it as her birthday gift.

Queenie, Happy birthday, friend! I hope you have a great day! Here, have a hamster.

At the Roost tonight, K.K. Slider performed K.K. Sonata for me. It’s pretty good, even if it is a slow and sad song.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Sonata.

Wolfgang has been sick with a cold, so I gave him some medicine yesterday, and then again today. Get well soon, you big grump!
