Redecorating Upstairs

Ever since 2012, when Nintendo released the creepy furniture set as DLC (two items per month in the latter half of the year), I’ve had those items displayed in my upstairs room. Today, I finally redecorated that room. I installed the Pavé set, which I got out of storage so that I could take a screenshot for my upcoming Festivale guide.

My Pave furniture, displayed in my ACCF house.

That’s how the room currently looks, although the picture in my guide will be slightly different: It won’t include the clock, which was DLC, and not an item earned during Festivale.

Roscoe asked me to play a wilderness survival game, which was really hide-and-seek. He gave me ten minutes to find him and the penguins (Boomer and Hopper). It didn’t take me long to find Boomer, who was unsuccessfully trying to hide behind a sign post. 😛

A minute later, I found Roscoe behind a tree. And shortly after that, with eight minutes remaining on the timer, I spotted Hopper behind Lobo’s house.

It was a pretty easy win, and Roscoe gave me a broken post for winning. Why can’t I get a prize that isn’t already broken, though? 😉

Roscoe: Here, have a broken post. You deserve a little something for that performance.
Did it break when you tried to jump it to escape Lon Lon Ranch?

Saharah was in town (on hump day), and she was searching for some old wallpaper.

Saharah: Your old wallpaper, you will bring some to me, yes? And for them, I will give you exotic wallpaper I have made!

I asked around, and only two villagers helped me out: Tom and Queenie. But I couldn’t ask Grizzly if he had any wallpaper, because he was locked out of his house. Until I found his key, that is. (Fortunately, it only took me two attempts.)

I caught a key! ...Whose key is this?

I returned it to Grizzly, and he called me the master of searching. Just like he’s the master of “eating a whole oatmeal?” I don’t think that’s the right way to say that… 😛

Grizzly: You're like the master of searching! Like I'm the master of eating a whole oatmeal!
You’re a bear; you should call it porridge.

He rewarded me with a tall buzzoid, but unfortunately, he didn’t have any old wallpaper to give me. And I didn’t have any in storage, so I was unable to redeem the two I got. I’ll save them for next time.

Anyway, my monthly bank account interest pushed my total savings balance over 54 million bells.

Your current balance is 54,040,000 bells.

See you all next time! 🙂
