Some Old Dude

Yesterday, I received a letter from Grizzly, thanking me for the medicine I gave him recently. But the gift he sent me? A cardboard box…with nothing in it. Just a box.

Speaking of empty things, I found Wisp’s magic lamp last night. And look where it was.

Wisp's lamp near a tree stump, next to Able Sisters.

If you watched City Folk Moments #18, you’ll know why this is a bit weird. It’s almost the same exact spot where I found his lamp the last two times Wisp visited! It’s been near that same exact tree stump next to Able Sisters, and the spot has only varied by a few spaces. Just don’t ask me why it keeps showing up there, because I’m stumped. 😉

A bit later, I found Wisp not far from the windmill.

Wisp: Oh, that's great! Thank you sooooooo much for finding me!

I took the lamp up into my attic to give it a rub, and Wisp popped out again. For my reward, I asked for clothes this time. Wisp gave me a blossom shirt.

In the city, Scoot told me that “some old dude” takes care of the flowers in front of Shampoodle. But he didn’t sound like he really knew, because apparently no one has seen the old dude. (So how do we know it’s an old dude?)

Scoot: Well, no one's really seen him yet, so we don't know exactly which old dude it is, but still, zip zoom!

I think it’s safe to say it’s not Tortimer though, since this is the city, not Forest. Phineas perhaps? Not sure if he counts as an “old dude” or not.

Today, I got to see inside of Ruby’s house. It’s a mix of lovely furniture, the moon, and…cleanliness. 😛

Over at the Roost tonight, K.K. performed Go K.K. Rider! for me. It’s a classic!

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: Go K.K. Rider!.
