The new DLC for October arrived today, with Pete handing me the letter from Nintendo. It’s the golden bench. It’s clear that my upstairs room is not going to be big enough for the whole golden furniture set.
I also received the skeleton that I ordered from Nook. I found the wording of the letter to be rather humorous.
So that’s where I left it! That explains why I was shaped like a bowl of jelly. Sometimes you leave your keys somewhere, and sometimes you forget your skeleton. 😛 Well anyway, here’s how it looks in my room:
I may still make some changes to the room. My jukebox (not shown) doesn’t quite fit in. And I need to move those flowers to a different floor and possibly replace them with orange and/or black roses. I’m considering other changes in my house as well.
Anyway, I found one new black rose today. I checked the theater for new emotions, but they didn’t have any Frillard ones.
I watered my flowers, finding two new black roses today. I also caught a pike in the river.
Scott got a letter from “Mom,” and I just have to say I really like the paper she used.
Unfortunately, I did not get the new DLC for October today. Hopefully I’ll get it tomorrow.
I gave him his spaceship part that I recovered yesterday and he gave me a Manneken Pis. It’s the peeing statue on the right in this picture.
I opened my gate at 10:00 and TZ and Bradley came in.
TZ brought some Halloween themed patterns that she put on display in my Able Sisters shop. Soon after, Skye showed up. So it was a full house tonight. We hung out in my messy house for a while, then visited Scott’s house briefly. I gave everyone a couple of Roman candles and we burned them off by town hall.
We then went to the museum and just hung out. Bradley wanted to see the exhibits. I noticed that dragonflies will land on the water in the insect room. I don’t think I ever noticed that before. They almost look like they’re dead when they’re just sitting on the water.
TZ left around 11:20. Skye and I went to the guest house for a while and did a little fishing. Around midnight, Skye left and I closed my gate for the night.
