After starting up the game, I quickly went to the beach to see Gulliver.
My thoughts would soon echo his words. I was, as always, hoping to finally get a Metroid, but it was not to be. He gave me a mermaid statue. Not what I wanted, but at least it wasn’t a duplicate of something I already had.
But the worst part is that it doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t try to bite your hand, it doesn’t urinate water, it doesn’t point north. It doesn’t even have a seashell bikini. I ended up dropping it off for Scott’s Gulliver room (not pictured). That room is far from complete, but it does have gadgets and gizmos aplenty. But who cares? No big deal… I want more. I want that Metroid. 😀
Bob was telling me about a dream he had…
There was no sign of Pete between 5:00 and 5:30, and there were no other visitors, so I knew the UFO would be coming. It had only been one week since the last time, but hey, I’m not complaining. I want that Metroid!
Check back tomorrow to see which item I get from Gulliver. A little later on, I finally decided to change my orange Halloween path to blue. I had to switch to my seldom-used Guest character, which explains the bed-head, but here is how Forest looks now.
Talking about Pumped Up Kicks (the song by Foster the People) last night with Skye made me realize I should make that my new town tune. I haven’t changed my town tune in many, many months, so I gave it a go:
If you want to hear it, I put up a video of it
I watered my flowers, and found one new black rose today. I found several mushrooms as well, but again no elegant or rare ones.
