Shari’s Last Day

Today was Shari’s last day in town, so I went to say goodbye to her.

Shari: Um, I wish I could leave you with a smile, but...yeah, I'm really gonna miss you, you chimp.

Midge told me she had a fight with Hornsby, and she bought a gift to make up with him. She asked me to deliver it.

Midge: Maybe you've heard, but I had a fight with Hornsby over something unimportant.

I took it over to Hornsby, and it was a kung-fu tee. πŸ˜€ Hornsby loved it, and he said he and Midge would be able to make up now. He gave me a globe for helping out.

Later on, Braxton from Nettle (aka Hedgy) came over to adopt Shari. I hope you enjoy having her, Hedgy! And I’m sure Shari will enjoy her new home! πŸ™‚

Shari: I finally made up my mind! I'm moving to nettle!

Down on the beach, I caught my first horned hercules beetle! It took out my eye! πŸ˜›

I caught a horned hercules! Guess I was stronger!
Of course, I donated it to the museum.

I’ve finally decided to move Tia’s house (again). I’m putting her house next to Lopez’s house, near the entrance of my “secret” path to the north beach. I didn’t originally think there was enough room here, but there was. I did trim the cliff above though, just so there was space to walk behind her house.

The new location of Tia's house.

I never came up with a name for this street. I once toyed with the idea of calling it Rizzo Road, but I decided against that. But it will now have three residents, just like Apple Lane. These houses are closer together than the homes on Apple Lane, however.

Moving Tia’s house will give me more horizontal space on the west part of town where I make multiplayer games. Even though this won’t affect the frog race, I’ll be able to use the extra space for the next thing I have planned.

That’s all for today, but I’ll be back again with more soon. See you then! Never Stop Crossing!

  1. Hi Jeff! My little brother recently got an island of his own! He calls it GG,idk what it’s supposed to mean. He got Deirdre and Cousteau as his starters, what are your thoughts on them?

    1. No, but I toyed with the idea of “Rizzo Road” at one point. πŸ˜› But I ultimately decided against it. Rizzo and Lopez aren’t going to be around forever.

  2. i was trying to hunt for dom, but instead, VIC decieded to move in!
worst thing that has happened to me in this game!

    1. Okay, good luck finding Audie! I know it’s really hard when you’re looking for one specific animal, but maybe you’ll get lucky! πŸ™‚

  3. Now I’m not sure why but in New leaf hippeux got into a fight with fang so they were both sad. But then I walk away to give Gayle a package from Celia, then hippeux interacted with fang again then this time they were both happy doing that dance with the town tune. They kept doing this untill I went to my police station. Have you had odd things like that, Jeff?

    1. Haha yeah, I’ve seen them do things like that before. I don’t remember any specific situations, but I’ve certainly seen some rapid mood swings like that. πŸ˜€

  4. I wanted to make a funny comment about Tia’s house moving again, but I can’t find a way to make it with subtle-tea.

  5. Have you had Whitney in any of your animal crossing towns. What games did you have Whitney in. My cousins Kate,Julia, and Jenny have Whitney in their new leaf town.

  6. Jeff, if you want to get all the emotes, you need to have a villager of every personality and become best friends with them. That means to unlock the final emote, you need to have a snooty and also become best friends with rizzo

    1. I’m not worried about that right now. I’ll get them all eventually, but I’m not in any rush to have a snooty move in.

    2. And here I thought there was no longer a need to keep at least one of every single personality around like in New Leaf (public works).

  7. Rizzo Road got a nice ring to it, but I understand your hesitation. I met Rizzo once at my campsite and he really freaked me out (I’ve been unlucky enough to have other uglies visit me, like Barold and Snooty). Considering the red flowers there, something like Red Road or Redd Road (since it leads to Redd) would be a nice name. Just food for thought.

  8. Enjoy Shari, hedgy! I’ll be sure to check to see if Shari will think. For some reason the people I like,(Bangle ohare etc.) Constantly think. I gave
up and let bones go. And the ones I want out like Carrie just never think! Plus the campers always try to replace bangle. Murphy, I’m sorry but why don’t you replace Carrie instead?

  9. I think the horned Hercules is one of the 3 rare summer bugs I don’t have yet. I can wait for tomorrow when Shari moves in! Thanks again! Have a great day and hopefully you get a villager you love!

    1. Haha, I don’t even know how many summer bugs I’m still missing. I’m not worried about it though, since I know my museum’s not going to be completed this summer anyway.

No problem! I’m glad Shari is going to a good home. πŸ™‚ And thanks, I’ll be sure to go on a few mystery island tours over the next couple days to look for villagers.

      1. Hi Jeff

You don’t have a couple of days to look for a new villager, you only get the day after they’ve gone, otherwise you will get a random moving in, I did that and got Marina, who everyone seems to want, so maybe I got lucky! Happy Hunting!!

        1. That’s not always how it works. Marcel moved out on April 22nd, and his plot wasn’t claimed until April 27th. Yeah, it’s risky to wait more than a day, but it’s not guaranteed that it’ll be taken.
