Sequence Complete

Saharah was in town yesterday, so I grabbed the turban I had waiting for her. When I handed it over, she gave me a red vase in return. That’s exactly what I was hoping for!

Saharah: That is a rare and valuable piece of art. It is called a red vase...

I spoke with her again to help her out; I delivered some carpet to Pelly and some wallpaper to Mabel. She then gave me some ringside seating as my reward.

At town hall, Pelly had some dialogue about Phyllis and her gum-chewing. Yes, Wild World actually has an extended storyline about gum. Such drama.

Pelly: Even long after the flavor is gone, she still keeps chewing it...

Phyllis swallows her gum, and Pelly is worried that Phyllis is going to be stopped up for seven years.

Pelly: I hate to be so indelicate, but at this rate, she's going to be blocked up...
I think you need a hobby.

As for the red vase, I didn’t have to wait long to pass it on. Crazy Redd was in town today (Tuesday), and I gave him the vase. In return, he gave me his safe!

Redd: And in exchange, I present you with the special Crazy Redd's safe!

The safe is black, and it lets you access your storage.

The safe in Animal Crossing: Wild World.

Even though I wouldn’t mind keeping such a safe, this one still has another purpose: It’s meant to be given to Tom Nook. The shop was still open, so I headed over to Nookington’s right away. I gave it to Nook, and in return, he gave me his glamour shot.

Tom Nook: You'll never be able to get this any other way. It's my glamour shot!

Fortunately, the item is just called Tom Nook’s pic. I took it back to my house and put it on my snowman table…although I had to move Samson’s pic to storage because my room was too full. Nook’s favorite quote is “I’ll be there with bells on. Ho ho!” Apparently he thinks he’s Santa Claus.

The quote on Tom Nook's pic: I'll be there with bells on! Ho ho!

Now that I have Tom Nook’s pic, the golden axe, K.K.’s pic, and Pascal’s pic, I believe I am done with the trading sequence!

I do want to experiment a bit with Pascal’s options, but I already have two scallops waiting for him. So I may not continue playing 4-5 days a week like I have been for the last few months.

In other news: Olivia has been sick with a cold, or least that’s what she’s telling me. But I’m getting the impression that she might be lying for some reason. 😛

Olivia: AAACK! KARF! KARF! HAAACK! Oh, no! I think I'm catching a cold, it's a lie.
Karf karf?

So I gave her some medicine yesterday and then again today.

See you all next time! Never Stop Crossing! 🙂
