The other night, Aurora told me that she was so cold that her feet felt like ice cubes. But you’re a penguin! You should love this kind of weather!

Tonight, Daisy told me she was so frustrated that she considered sticking her head in the snow to cool off! I wonder what made her so frustrated. Maybe she was playing some ranked battles of Splatoon.

It seemed like everyone was talking about the weather. Peck warned me not to freeze my toes. Uh, or anything else.

I made a visit to Brooke’s town Novation to drop off a few villager pictures. She seemed to enjoy them. 🙂

When I updated my dream town tonight, Luna told me that Dante from Barkwood was my most recent dream visitor.

After identifying my fossils for the day, Big Top used his big nose to sniff my skull. My raptor skull, that is.

He offered to give me his vegetarian shirt for it. A fossil for a shirt is a very unfair trade, but I accepted anyway. I’m too nice to my villagers. But an election year is coming up, so it can’t hurt. 😉 Re-elect Mayor Jeff 2016!

I finished my night with some nice peaceful ocean diving. One of my catches was a scallop, and Pascal popped up to ask me for it. I handed it over and he gave me an anchor in exchange. He then left me with some words of wisdom.

In an attempt to appear wise, I didn’t respond.

Yesterday was Pashmina’s birthday, so I headed over to her house to help her celebrate. Velma, the town’s other goat, was also there for the party.

I gave Pashmina a customized circle banner for her birthday present. She said she was surprised by the gift, but she later said it was awesome. I’m not sure if I believe her or not.

Have a good one, Pashmina! I hope this birthday is your Greatest Of All Time.

Today, there was an igloo over at the campsite. Ozzie the koala was inside; he said he picked Forest randomly. Apparently, that’s how he picks out his clothes too.

I met up with Pashmina today, and she told me that Velma once wrestled a bear…and won!

Could that be true? I had to ask Velma about it myself. I went to her house and I found her sitting at her piano. She told me to keep the rumor to myself! Wow, it must be true!

Last night, I made a point to try to get as many Toy Day hints as possible. I had at least one clue for eight of my villagers–all but Aurora and Agent S. Aurora was in the museum, and she wouldn’t talk about anything but fossils. As for Agent S, I couldn’t find her anywhere. But I did stop to wish on a few shooting stars.

And then tonight, of course, is Christmas Eve. I found Jingle the black-nosed reindeer in town, and he asked me for some help delivering presents. He gave me the magical Santa bag filled with presents.

I started handing out presents to the six villagers who gave me two clues; they were generally pretty easy to figure out. Dizzy wanted beige clothes, so he got the beige knit shirt. Daisy wanted red plants, so she got a poinsettia.

Rolf wanted orange food, so he got an orange. (Called it!) Peck wanted white electronics, so he got the refrigerator.

After I successfully delivered six presents, I had two villagers who had only given me one clue. Using the process of elimination, I was able to figure out which was which. Molly wanted clothing, and the purple tie-dye tee was the only shirt I had left. Velma wanted something green, and the only green item left was a green wall.

I was then down to two items left (a vacuum cleaner and an elephant slide) for two villagers (Aurora and Agent S). I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right. I found Agent S, and she said “brace yourself.” She was directing at herself, but it could have easily been said to me. “Here goes nothing!”

She opened the gift and an elephant slide was inside. She was clearly disappointed. I have officially failed Toy Day.

I gave Aurora the vacuum cleaner and then returned to Jingle. He said he would have been more careful to give the gifts to the right people…how rude! So why didn’t you, then? He did thank me for my help anyway, and he gave me a festive wreath.
