Freeing the Tiger

On December 7th, Claudia informed me that she would be moving out on the 17th! I obviously did not try to stop her. 😛

Claudia: I'm moving away from Forest on the 17th of this month. Winter puts me in a migrating mood.

Saharah was in town, so I hired her to install some new wallpaper and carpeting. But as she followed me to my house, she got stuck on…Aurora?

Saharah: Ahh! Wait! Please to wait!

I found a lost item on the ground after I spoke with Saharah again. She ultimately installed a skyscraper wall and a classroom floor for my main room.

Shortly after that, I saved my game and didn’t play again until today (the 17th). I realized that I forgot about the lost item last time, because it turned into just a book! Even more surprising is that Reese considers books to be garbage! She wanted a disposal fee to take it!

Reese: Oh, a book? I can't buy this item, so you'll have to pay a disposal fee to dump it...

I went over to Claudia’s house to say goodbye. She’s all packed up and ready to go.

Claudia: Oh, Tiny J! I'm glad I got to see you before I left town.
That’s a LOT of boxes!

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you know I’m glad to get rid of her. I never wanted her in the first place.

My town will now have a vacancy, although the 10th spot won’t fill up on its own, so who knows how long it’ll take to get a replacement. Especially because I no longer play the game online or take it out for StreetPass hits. But at least campers will be an option.

Of course, winter is here now. Snow covers the ground, and villagers have started to tell me what they want for Toy Day. Lolly wants an orange home appliance.

Lolly: I'm being practical this year. I'm asking Jingle for a useful home appliance.

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include Z0ku from Ranatown, Lilac from Island, Anna from Sunshine, Saba from New Deya, and Winnie from Woodsie. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great holiday season!

  1. I have always loved the zodiac items. I also love to hear the wishes for the new year by my villagers. I recently started a new town as I have followed your blog for years and loved everything you shared from Animal Crossing: New Leaf as that is my favourite game (I also love the original one but New Leaf is my all time fave). It is funny, for a long while I played Wild World and I recall that I used to think that the WW one was my all time fave even after NL came out (and I even used to say that I will only play WW. I have everything I need in WW and would never NL), I was SO sceptical of it and did not like what I saw from people’s screenshots of it (Also, I prefered to be a villager, not a mayor. I guess I prefered to just be a regular person with no responsibilites and just living my life.). After been playing NL (I got too curious at one point, so just had to check it out), I fell in love with it and since then, NL has been my all time favourite game of those I have played (AC for the GC, AC WW and AC NL). I have not tried any of the others but I have asked somebody about the AC for the Wii one and was told it was not any particular special. I still believe I prefer to just be a villager and not a mayor thought, but since I can not choose in the AC NL one, I will just have to stick to it (in this version anyway) and well, it has grown on me some. The nice thing is that the villagers seems ever nice to me now than in WW (probably because I am the mayor here and they are just sucking up to me, haha!). Thank you SO much for keep playing and keep sharing your Animal Crossing gameplay with us (Expecially the NL one!).

    1. Thank you! I’m glad you enjoy the blog. 😊 Each of the Animal Crossing games has its own strengths, so they all have something to offer. 🙂
