Hopper Out, Ricky In

Hopper the penguin has already moved out of town. I got his goodbye letter today.

Hopper's goodbye letter.I talked to Puck (another penguin) and he thought of a game for us to play. Sounds fun.

Puck: I thought of a sweet game we can play!He told me to choose right or left. I chose right, and he informed me that that means I have to buy a playroom wall from him for 1,930 bells!

Puck: Looks like you're buying a playroom wall for 1,930 bells.
I don’t like his games.

Still, I continued talking to many of my villagers. Genji hinted at Jack’s appearance for Halloween.

Genji: Someone from out of town comes to Forest to play tricks on all of us!Static asked me for a new catchphrase to replace “krzzt.” I wasn’t sure what to tell him, but I eventually went with “on bread.” It made him sound like he’s offering to make me a sandwich.

Static: So what do you want, on bread?I then saw a new house. It belonged to my new neighbor Ricky, a clown-nosed squirrel. He doesn’t seem very friendly.

Ricky: What exactly are you doing? Are you blabbing at me?I pulled some weeds, stopped at the post office, checked the dump, and then stopped at the train station. I let K.K. perform a song for me (he chose K.K. Jazz) before I headed for home.

K.K.: You tapped for tunes? Dig this one, man. K.K. Jazz!
