On Thursday, I found a goodbye letter from Chevre in the mail. I’m sad to see her goat. I mean, go. 🙁

I also received a letter from Mom, saying she would actually pay ten bells just to be able to sleep in later! Aww, you go ahead and sleep in, Mom!

I found Chevre’s replacement, and it’s the very cute Aurora! She lived in Forest before back in 2013. Welcome to Forest, Aurora!

When I ran into Tom, he was telling me about the sports fair. Interestingly, he called the third event a bean-bag toss, when everything else I’ve seen refers to it as a ball toss.

On Friday, I participated in the spring sports fair…attending all four events! I won’t detail everything here in the blog, because I’ve posted a video of the event, which you can check out here:
But I will point out one thing that I thought was particularly amusing: Gaston was doing some trash talking, saying that his race opponent had chicken legs. And his opponent actually was a chicken…Hank! 😆

Kody was talking about groundhogs, and how he had wanted to catch one for years.

But then he seemed to realize that his idea didn’t make much sense. 😆

Today, Maple told me how much she loves this time of year.

She’s particularly looking forward to the cherry blossoms that will start falling from trees in early April. Me too, Maple. 🌸
Belle asked me to buy her violin for 2,660 bells. I declined, and she then offered a cabana lamp for 2,000 bells. I wasn’t interested in that either, so Belle got mad and wondered how she was going to carry both items all the way back to her house. Of course, we were standing right outside her house at the time.

In other news, Ursala called me a slob. Why do I put up with these animals? 😛

That’s all I have for now, but I’ll be back again in April. Never Stop Crossing!
