October is here, and the first thing I noticed when I started up the game tonight was the grass. The brownish, ugly, autumn grass.
I had a letter from Jack, the czar of Halloween, in the mail. He told me to start stocking up on candy for the Halloween festivities on October 31st.
You can buy candy in Nook’s store each day. Since I only have Nook ‘n’ Go, there was only one piece for me to buy today.
On the map, I noticed Forest has ten villagers again. The new resident is named Chester. I was hoping for a cheetah (that eats Cheetos), but he’s a panda. Pandas are cute in real life, but for some reason, I’m not a fanda of the pandas in Animal Crossing. I’m the same way with koalas.
He seems nice enough, though. Maybe he’ll grow on me.
