Angus on a Bun

I got a letter from Angus in the mail, thanking me for the medicine when he was sick recently. He included a lemon table with the letter. Am I supposed to lick the table for extra Vitamin C?

Jeff, Thanks for taking care of me back there. That cold is as good as gone now! I owe you one! Heck, I owe you two. Much appreciated, pal! -AngusOver by the museum, Bunnie was acting a bit creepy. She asked me to take pictures of trendy boys the next time I go to the city. Yeah, that’s not going to happen.

Bunnie: So, like, if you see any trendy boys in the city, totally snap a picture for me, OK?The bulletin board informed me that today was Kiki’s birthday. Of course the animals don’t actually celebrate in City Folk, so it’s kind of pointless. Still, I was going to visit with her and at least say hello, but she was already in bed for the night.

Sign on Kiki's door: Good night. If you need me, please come tomorrow.Behind Nook ‘n’ Go, I ran into Angus. He asked me for a new catchphrase to replace “macmoo.” I told him to say “on a bun,” and he really enjoyed it. He said he felt like a new animal, on a bun. That may be a cheesy thing to say, but I didn’t want to start any beef with him. He can be a bit bull-headed.

Angus: Thanks to you, I feel like a new animal, on a bun!

Flipping Burgers

Friga asked me for a bell cricket tonight, and I agreed to catch one for her. But only because they’re very easy to find. And sure enough, it didn’t take me long to find one.

Friga: Oh, really and truly? It's the bell cricket I wanted! She paid me 552 bells for the bug.

Angus was sick, so I went to Nook ‘n’ Go to buy him some medicine. When I gave it to him, I felt like I was flipping burgers.

Angus flips upside down as he takes his medicine. And just before midnight, I made it down to the Roost right before K.K. ended his weekly Saturday night show. I asked him for a random song, and he performed K.K. Technopop for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Technopop.

October is Here

October is here, and the first thing I noticed when I started up the game tonight was the grass. The brownish, ugly, autumn grass.

The new brownish shade of grass color.I had a letter from Jack, the czar of Halloween, in the mail. He told me to start stocking up on candy for the Halloween festivities on October 31st.

October 31st is on its way! Time to get ready for Halloween! Round up all the candy you can so you can give it to me on the big night! -Jack (Czar of Halloween)You can buy candy in Nook’s store each day. Since I only have Nook ‘n’ Go, there was only one piece for me to buy today.

Tom Nook: Yes, a yellow candy. It costs 320 bells. On the map, I noticed Forest has ten villagers again. The new resident is named Chester. I was hoping for a cheetah (that eats Cheetos), but he’s a panda. Pandas are cute in real life, but for some reason, I’m not a fanda of the pandas in Animal Crossing. I’m the same way with koalas.

Chester: Whew... Unpacking sure is hard work! I think I'm actually breaking a sweat for the first time in years...He seems nice enough, though. Maybe he’ll grow on me.
