I got Ed’s goodbye letter in the mail when I started up the game today. He’s gone off to be a globetrotter.
Outside of Friga’s house, I saw a new blue rose! They sure don’t pop up very often!
Despite the chill in the air, it was a nice sunny day. Perfect for running around town with my balloon!
But as Katrina might say, running around too much may lead to…accidents.
Once I completed my walk around town, I took the bus to the city. It was snowing there, and I ran into my old BFF Bob! Naturally, he was talking about food.
Of course this was just a generic Bob (as opposed to the specific Bob that lived in Forest), so he didn’t remember me. But it was still nice to see him again. Who knows, maybe he’ll move back into Forest one of these days years.
I also went into GracieGrace just for the heck of it; the gorgeous furniture is on sale this season. But the thing that struck me was the size of the store. It’s a lot bigger than her Emporium showroom in New Leaf.
I then rode the bus back to Forest (so that the snow in the city would water my flowers) and wrapped up my afternoon in City Folk. Have a good day, everyone!
I visited Ed, and he just remembered that he’s moving out of town. Even though he’s already packed up, he somehow forgot why. I guess he’s not the brightest lantern in the barn, if you know what I mean.
Saharah was in town, and she was looking for old wallpaper. So I went around to ask all of my villagers for some. Except for Ed the horse, of course, of course. Three of the others had some old wallpaper for me: Bunnie, Prince, and Lily.
I took the three items to Saharah, and she gave me a basement wall in return.
I was quite disappointed at first…until I checked my checklist and saw that it was an item I still needed for my catalog. So I decided to take a look at it. It’s honestly much better than its name implies. If anything, it should be called a dungeon wall. I like it!
I put the wallpaper into storage for possible future use, and then I took the bus to the city. It was snowing there, and I saw that the path to the Reset Surveillance Center was open.
I went inside, and nobody was home! Resetti and/or Don must have just scrambled to bug some poor Animal Intersection player. 😀 Unfortunately, there was nothing I could do in here. I couldn’t sit in the chairs, I couldn’t turn the TV on, I couldn’t look in the lockers, I couldn’t even eat the last piece of pizza!
Tortimer was outside of town hall again today, also wishing me a happy new year. Thanks, Torty!
He was handing out the New Year’s shirt for 2015. It’s the year of the sheep, so it has a sheep on the front. But is it made of wool?
And of course, it says “2015” on the back. Today is the only day you can get this shirt, so you might want to pick yours up while you can!
Each villager wished me a happy new year. Prince hopes we get lots of good food this year. In his case, that probably means flies and other insects. So I think I’ll decline any dinner invitations I get from him.
Genji was even more excited about the new year. I could tell because he was yelling in a very large font. 😛
And by the bridge, Angus did a little dance for me: The Dance of the Lonely Manicotti. His dance consisted of several different emotions in a row. That was odd…
When I went to visit Broccolo, I saw that he was
I finished up my day with a bus ride to the city, where I had a little chat with Phineas. He ended up giving me a green balloon.
Have a great New Year, everyone!
