Fighting and Crime

Last night, Chrissy told me that she was such a healthy person, she’d like to try walking all the way to the city.

Chrissy: Since I'm such a healthy person, I'd SO like to try walking all the way to the city.Wait, did you catch that? She’s such a healthy person? It sure sounds like she’s admitting to being a human in a bunny suit to me! 😀

Today, Fang told me that Chrissy and Bettina recently had a big fight. He said they really tore into each other! Sounds vicious! Wish I could’ve seen it!

Fang: You heard anything about Chrissy's fight with Bettina? Word is they tore into each other. But the bad blood didn’t end there. Bunnie approached Lily today and asked if she stopped taking showers! Of course Lily got mad, and she called Bunnie stupid!

Lily: Oh? And how did you THINK I would react? Sometimes you're just not very smart, Bunnie!I escaped the drama by shopping at Able Sisters. I noticed the pilot’s cap was on sale today, and that’s significant because I’ve been looking for it for a long time. Aside from the feathers that you get for depositing tons of money into your bank account (many of which I’ll never get), the pilot’s cap was the last accessory that I needed for my catalog.

Mabel: That's a pilot's cap. The price on that item is 720 bells. After completing my walk around town, I took the bus to the city to enjoy part of this pleasant evening there.

A nice evening in the city, with Phineas handing out balloons near the fountain.I also had a little chat with Goldie, my favorite female dog. She said she would be scared to use the ATM ADB in the city at night. You know, since the world of Animal Crossing is such a high crime area.

Goldie: I think I'd be scared, taking out bells in the middle of the city like that, especially at night, woof.

A New Mouse & A Sad Bunnie

When I checked my mail today, I found two letters–both of them from Lily! One was a thank-you note for taking medicine to her when she was sick. She attached a bathtub to that letter! The other was a Valentine with a chocolate heart enclosed. What is she suggesting?

The bathtub and chocolate heart I received in the mail. With about five minutes to go in today’s fishing tournament, I spoke with Chip to see who had the top fish at the time. When he told me Bunnie was in the lead with an 88.4 inch tuna, I knew I had no shot.

Chip: Bunnie caught an impressive 88.4-inch tuna. Yup!Not far from town hall, I found a new house. Bettina the mouse has just moved into town. I’m not so sure I like her all that much, but Broccolo may have a different view.

Bettina: Oh! I'm sorry! Everything's such a mess, and now, of course, I've got a visitor...Later this evening, I headed up to the Roost. For Valentine’s Day, Brewster serves hot chocolate instead of coffee. What a sweet treat.

Wait a second... This is hot chocolate!!While I was there, I decided to take in a performance from K.K. I asked him for a random song, and he played Mountain Song for me. Fortunately, it didn’t involve any yodeling.

K.K. plays the guitar and sings in the Roost. And in a sad moment outside, Bunnie spent her Valentine’s Day wondering if there was anyone out there for her.

Bunnie: Hmmm... I wonder if there's a special someone out there for me, toasty?Don’t worry, Bunnie. I’m sure you’ll meet the right rabbit and have thousands of kids. Good luck.

I hope you all had a better Valentine’s Day than Bunnie did. If not, at least the hot chocolate was good, right? Enjoy the rest of your weekend, everyone!

Chrissy on the Cliff

The mustached frog is now officially the former villager known as Prince. I got his goodbye letter in the mail today.

Prince's goodbye letter in Animal Crossing: City Folk.A message on the bulletin board reminded me that Festivale is coming up on Monday. If you’re interested, here’s a video of the event (recorded in 2010) that shows what it’s like in City Folk. Mobile users may need to click here to see it.

As I walked around town tonight, I spotted Chrissy up on the dead end cliff. I tried waving to her, but it doesn’t work when you and the villager are on different levels of town. Still, I thought this made for a funny picture.

Me looking up at Chrissy, who is standing on the dead end cliff very close to the camera.Lily was still sick, so I bought her some medicine once again. If this doesn’t work, maybe she should take two flies and call me in the morning.

Lily flips as she takes some medicine.
