Deena Departing

Today, I found that Deena had all her belongings packed up in boxes. She’s moving out, without notice.

Deena: The boxes probably gave it away, but...I've decided to move, I'm down.

Not to sound insensitive, but I’m okay with her moving. Best of luck in your new town, Deena!

It’s early April, which means there are lots of pink trees around town. It’s certainly a pretty time of year. 🌸

Pink trees abound in Forest.

Tiffany asked me to make a delivery to Willow for her, and I agreed to help out. But Willow seemed disappointed that the gift was just a kappa suit.

Willow: Oh! Could it be?! Hmm...no. It's actually just a kappa suit.

Still, she did put it on…as a scarf, of course. When I returned to Tiffany, she rewarded me with a lovely wall.

Rosie was telling me about a movie that she borrowed from Antonio, called The Coprolite. That’s…dino poop. That doesn’t sound like the best movie to me, but it did inspire Rosie to become a fossil hunter. And she even vowed to never give up the hunt!

Rosie: So, starting today, I'm gonna be a fossil hunter, too! And I will NEVER give up the hunt!

Over by the fountain, Sydney told me that she bought a tiger butterfly for me!

Sydney: Hey, J-boo! I just bot a tiger butterfly, in a coma!
It was in a coma? I guess that makes it easy to catch.

She said it cost her 781 bells, and she asked if I’d pay her back for it. I guess I was feeling nice, so I handed over the money. (I’ll sometimes agree to these things if the price is under 1,000 bells.)

I rode the bus out to the city and got my hair changed back to its normal style and color. I ended my game for the afternoon, but I returned again later tonight for K.K. Slider’s show at the Roost. I asked him for a random song, and he performed “K.K. Ballad” for me. It’s a good song!

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Ballad.

Just as a reminder, Bunny Day is tomorrow! I’ll try to participate in the festivities, but I may not post another blog entry until later in the week. If you need a refresher on how it works in City Folk, check out my Bunny Day Guide.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
