Wasted Time and Motion

It was raining in Forest today, and Antonio told me I can’t let the rain keep me in. He said I gotta go out and “rock it,” even if I get wet…up his nose. I think I need to change his catchphrase at this point. I don’t need to picture the inside of his nose every time I play. 😆

Antonio: You can't let the rain keep you in. You gotta go out and rock it even if you get wet, up my nose!

Rosie told me that she was planning on moving out of town, but I told her to stay. She said she was still going to leave, but she might change her mind if I keep being nice to her.

Rosie: Hmmm... Maybe you should keep being nice to me, cat. I might change my mind again.

I think I remember dealing with this peppy dialogue before. Despite how it sounds, I think this means she has already decided to stay. I still chatted with her another handful of times later on in my session (just in case), and she didn’t mention moving again. So I think she’s safe, for now.

Sydney was sick with a cold today, so I gave her some medicine I had with me. She didn’t start feeling any better just yet, though.

When I ran into Rosie again, she was talking about the flea market that’s coming up tomorrow. She said that last time, she missed out on all the good stuff. So this time, she’s going to plan things out more efficiently. Good luck with that, Rosie.

Rosie: There must be minimal wasted time and motion, cat!
This quote is about finding better junk at the flea market, but it sounds so much more profound out of context.

I played again tonight, and I headed over to the Roost for K.K. Slider’s Saturday night show. He performed “K.K. Steppe” for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Steppe.

I got to see the inside of Apollo’s house now that he has unpacked. He has some modern furniture (but not the modern wall/floor) and a couple of chess knights.

I went on a fruit-gathering run and I kept going until I had enough bells to hit a new savings milestone: 77 million bells.

Your current balance is 77,000,000 bells.

See you next week!
