Creepy Carpet DLC

Nintendo sent out the latest item in the creepy DLC set today. Here is the letter that came with it.

Dear Jeff, What better way to surround yourself in the spirit of the season than with this creepy wallpaper?! Happy haunting! -NintendoOh, the creepy wallpaper. Uh…wait a minute here. The item attached is not the creepy wallpaper, but the creepy carpet!

The creepy carpet DLC on display in my house.Nintendo goofed and sent the wrong letter with the item! Oops! Well, I guess it’s not as bad as misspelling November. As for the creepy wallpaper, that won’t be released until October 16th. It will be the final piece of the creepy set.

I also got my monthly bank statement from the Bank of Nintendo in the mail. I earned 67,200 bells in interest for the month.

Dear Jeff, We appreciate your business and hope that you are satisfied with our service. You have earned 67,200 bells in interest. -BANK OF NINTENDOThen I walked around town and watered my flowers. Bob thanked me for giving the message to Guest yesterday, and he gave me a military uniform. I guess he wants me to play dress-up with him.

Anyway, I then rode the bus to the city to check Crazy Redd’s inventory for the week.

A triforce, a calm painting, and a green lava lamp in Crazy Redd's shop.He had a triforce, a calm painting, and a green lava lamp. Those aren’t bad items, but I’ve had them all before and didn’t need them.

Metroid II

I went down to the beach to see Gulliver, unconscious and washed up on the beach.

The damaged UFO on the beach, with Gulliver lying next to it.I gave him his spaceship part and he gave me something that shocked me: Another Metroid! He toyed with me for over a year, giving me duplicates of lots of items while never giving me a Metroid, and now he gives me two in a row? Wow, where was this last year?

Anyway, the second one might as well go in Scott’s Gulliver room, so I set it aside for him. I went around town and found another surprise…

Victoria in her house, with her belongings all packed up in boxes.Victoria is all packed up! Without warning! I didn’t want her to leave. 🙁

Victoria: Oh, Super J! I'm glad you stopped by...'cause I'm totally MOVING! So long, jockey! What a way to break the news to me. Well there’s nothing I can do about it now. Oh well.

I talked to Bob and he asked me to give Guest a message. He said to have Guest ask him about outfits. Once I was done playing as my Jeff character, I switched to Guest. After reminding him about the word “outfits,” he gave me a swell shirt.

Bob: Here ya go, Guest! It's a swell shirt!I also switched to my Scott character. I put the Metroid up in his Gulliver room and then ended my game for the night.

Back So Soon?

Today, a message was posted on the bulletin board reminding everyone that the first fireworks festival is coming up on Sunday. That should be fun.

~Fireworks Show~ The show starts at 7 p.m. this coming Sunday! Come welcome the start of summer with your pals!I took the bus to the city to check for this week’s new emotions, but there were none that I wanted.

Clerk: What show would you like to see today?I came back to Forest, and at one point I dropped my Wii remote, which killed a black rose in the process. Ouch. But my luck would soon change…

After shooting down the UFO last Wednesday, I certainly wasn’t expecting another UFO this soon. But that’s exactly what I got. It flew by at 6:07 and I shot it with my slingshot. This is #20.

Shooting a UFO with my slingshot. The spaceship part was much easier to find this time, so I snatched it up.

The spaceship part from the UFO on the ground.I wonder what item Gulliver will give me this time. Find out tomorrow.
