Snout and About

When I visited Antonio today, I was disappointed to see that he is moving out of town. 🙁

Antonio: I was getting pumped about how shocked everyone would be when they found my empty house.
Maybe he found a town with more ants? So long, Antonio.
I hope your new town is crawling with opportunity.

He has lived here for 3.5 years, moving in on Festivale Day in 2023. That’s (easily) the longest of any of my current villagers. One interesting bit of trivia is that my longest-tenured Wild World villager also moved out today.

Anyway, Felicity was talking about how pop stars (like her, apparently) always have to deal with crazed fans and paparazzi.

Felicity: All the top pop stars have to deal with crazed fans and relentless paparazzi and stuff...

She was actually asking me to play a game of hide-and-seek with her (and two friends). I agreed, and she gave me ten minute to find her, Big Top, and Willow. I found Big Top almost immediately, hiding behind the bulletin board right near the starting point. 😛

Big Top tries to hide behind the bulletin board.

I later found Felicity and Willow both hiding behind sign posts! So none of the three hiders hid behind a building or a tree! That probably doesn’t happen very often. Anyway, Felicity rewarded me with a little fart. A mini tootoid, that is. 😛

Felicity: Oh, well! A gracious loser accepts such things with tact. And PRESENTS! Take my mini tootoid!

I played again later tonight, and I checked out K.K. Slider’s Saturday night show. He performed “To the Edge” for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: To the Edge.

I started hunting bugs (and fish) for a while. I saw a shark near the mouth of the river that almost looked like he was swimming upstream, up the river! Is it a salmon shark? 😛

A shark appears to swim up the river.
Actually, it was a hammerhead.

In a 35-minute bug hunt, I only made about 95k. I haven’t been doing much bug-hunting so far this summer, so I’m behind schedule as it pertains to my summer goal. It’s like the opposite of last year. I’ll have to pick up the pace in August if I’m going to reach my goal!

I’ll be back with another entry next week. Hope to see you then!
