Alice Moved Out

In the mail today was a goodbye letter from Alice. I didn’t even know she was moving.

To Jeff, Today's my last day. I'm leaving Forest. Good-bye, Jeff. I hope you won't forget me! -Good-bye, AliceIt was raining again in Forest today. So apparently the rainy season is now underway. I spotted Wendell creeping around my house.

Wendell the walrus stands near my house.Kid Cat then asked me for a favor: He asked me to catch him a sea bass. No problem!

Kid Cat: Whoa, a sea bass! Right on!

Late Night Bugs & Fish

It was raining in Forest today. Kid Cat didn’t seem thrilled with that fact.

Kid Cat: Man, this halfway weather is so weak. Either rain hard or shine hard. Go big or go home! Come on!!Pascal was in town. I gave him a scallop and he gave me an anchor.

Pascal: Hey, hook an otter up with a scallop, would ya, man? Then of course, he jumped into the river. I got this picture of him going over the waterfall:

Pascal goes over the waterfall in Animal Crossing: City Folk (ACCF).I then opened my gate for some late-night fishing and bug-hunting. Yann and Megan came over. I saw three snails on three consecutive roses, so I took a picture.

Jeff: 3 snails lined up.There didn’t seem to be a whole lot of good bugs and fish out, but we did catch some good ones. Here, I snagged a goliath beetle.

I caught a goliath beetle! GOOOOOOOOLIATH!And Megan caught the only coelacanth of the night.

Jeff: Go Megan, go Megan!Nook had a stroller for sale in his store, with a baby (bear?) in it. We joked that it was Nook’s and Yann’s baby. I was about to close my gate, so Yann was kissing her baby goodnight. Until I surprised her by buying her baby…and threatening to put it in the recycling bin.

Jeff: I'll recycle your baby. But I did the honorable thing: I went outside and dropped it on the ground so its mother could take it back (after she stepped all over it). All’s well that ends well. 😛

Oh, Bother

Today, Kaitlin was in town. She is the (unfit) mother cat who always loses her daughter Katie. This time, Katie was in Tropical, which is Yann’s town.

Kaitlin: Oh, bother. My daughter has run off again, that naughty kitten...I ran into Rowan, and he asked me about Skye. I believe that means Skye must have recently played her game. A few days ago, an animal mentioned Chris for the first time in a long time…then soon after, I heard from Chris telling me he recently played. So the animals seem to know when players are active.

Rowan: Hey, how's that Skye kid holding up? You know, the one who rolled by the other day?I got a very nice letter in the mail from my friend Olivia. She sent me an “awesome” A shirt, so I put in on. 🙂

Me wearing an A shirt.Victoria asked me for some playful furniture. Normally I would have ignored her request, because I generally don’t want to bother looking up what qualifies as playful (or whatever adjective they choose each time).

However, I had already seen a kiddie couch in Nook’s store, and I figured the kiddie set is about as playful as furniture gets. So I went and bought it for her, and she was happy with that. She gave me a kitchen wall as a reward. I wish the rewards they gave were better, so that helping animals out would actually be worthwhile. Oh well.

Victoria: Yaaaay, J-rock! You're gonna make me all swoony!Later, Yann agreed to bring Katie over so that we’d be rid of the cats. I hate these cats so much, so I’m glad I don’t have to deal with them for the rest of the week at least. After that, I ended my game for the night.

Jeff: Thanks, Yann. :)
