Return of Mohawk McClover

Since it’s March now, I decided to once again dye my hair green in preparation for St. Patrick’s Day.

Me with green, spiky hair in Shampoodle.Once I got back to town, I made sure to talk to Del. I again told him not to move out of Forest, and it actually worked this time! He’s going to stay put for now!

Del: You've convinced me, Super J. I'll stay on as Forest's crankiest resident a while longer. As you can see in that picture, I put on my club shirt and mohawk wig to complete my character, Mohawk McClover. This is my fourth straight year dressing up as this character. Later on, at 10:00, I opened my gate. Yann came in.

Jeff: Mohawk McClover here.Mike also came in, but he was on “brb” for a while to look for his keyboard. Yann and I went into Victoria’s house.

Jeff and Yann looking through Victoria's cabinets.Mike was taking a long time to return (as he often does), so we buried him alive.

Mike buried in a pitfall near the sumo ring.He eventually returned and we did some fishing.

Jeff, holding up an olive flounder: I caught an olivia flounder.Mike had some trouble being careful around my flowers, so twice I had to reset the game. Yann came back in and we spent some time in my house for a little while.

Jeff stands behind the gorgeous counter.Around 11:35, a zombified Olivia came in.

Three of us standing near the Forest gate.I tried to pitfall her, but she’s a tricky one. She may have escaped this time, but I’ll get her eventually. It’s only a matter of time.

New DLC: Egg TV

I got a couple new letters in the mail today. One was a letter from Mint, thanking me for giving her medicine when she was sick. She sent me a striped cone along with the letter.

To Jeff, Being sick really lets you know who will stick by you. Thanks for helping. I hope I can repay the favor! -From: MintI also got my monthly bank statement from the Bank of Nintendo. I earned 52,500 bells in interest this month.

Dear Jeff, We appreciate your business and hope that you are satisfied with our service. You have earned 52,500 bells in interest. -BANK OF NINTENDODel came up to me and told me he was going to move! I told him not to go.

Del: I'm a wanderer, and I can only stay in one place for so long. That didn’t change his mind, but I’ll keep talking to him in the coming days. Hopefully I can change his mind. But I think there’s already an animal ready to take his place…

Coco: I put on my Sunday best to try and impress everyone here, doyoing.I’ve been seeing Coco in the city a lot lately. That indicates that she is a character that has recently moved out of one of my friends’ towns and is likely soon to move in. I wouldn’t mind having Coco in my town, but I don’t want Del to be the one that gets replaced.

Anyway, with it being March now, many spring butterflies are now out and can be seen flying around all over town.

I caught a tiger butterfly! Here, kitty, kitty! And last but not least, is the new DLC for March. It’s the egg TV. Like most recent DLC items, it is one that was previously released in Europe and Australia, but is now available worldwide.

The egg TV DLC item on display in my house in ACCF.

Leap Day

I didn’t update the blog yesterday, but I do want to share this picture I took yesterday. It shows a balloon present flying above my head in front of Nook ‘n’ Go:

A green balloon present flies above my head outside of Nook 'n' Go.Today is Leap Day, February 29th, a day which only comes once every four years. The game doesn’t make a big deal of it, but there is a message posted on the bulletin board about it.

~Leap Day~ Today is February 29th, the day that comes but once every four years! Do you feel like you gained a day?!I went around and watered my flowers. There were no new black roses today. But even worse, I accidentally killed a gold rose. Oops! I probably should start using my gold roses to line my paths instead of leaving big patches of them that I can run into and not realize until it’s too late.

But anyway, I talked to some of my favorite animals, including Bob. He is my slave now, and I’ve taught him the correct way to address me.

Bob: Oh, your Majesty. Are you out for a walk, too, master?I also saw Pete out and about, and I had a short chat with him.

Pete: I take a lot of pride in freezing my tail feathers to deliver my letters on time.
