Friday Night Forest, Pango Packed

It was raining in Forest tonight, which is always a good thing. I opened my gate just after 10:00 and it filled up almost instantly. ToonZelda, Bushido, and Patty were the visitors.

We walked around town and headed to my house and then Scott’s house. As expected, Bushy enjoyed the three deer scares in there.  After stopping at Nook’s and Ables, we then had a fishing competition. Thanks to the rain, coelacanths were out and about.

Bushido: 0 bugs, 7 fish. Patty: 1 bug, 5 fish. T Zelda: 1 bug, 15 fish. Jeff: 0 bugs, 11 fish.Holding up our best catches of the night. There were also some valuable summer bugs out. I caught two rainbow stags (10,000 bells ea.), several oak silk moths (1,200 bells ea.), a lot of lantern flies (1,800 bells ea.), and a BUNCH of goliath beetles (a whopping 6,000 bells ea.). So if you combine that with the two coelacanths I caught tonight (15,000 bells ea.), and I ended up making over 150,000 bells. It was a great night for catching bugs and fish.

Jeff shows off his goliath beetle in AC City Folk for Wii.I checked in on Pango, and she is all packed and ready to move out. She will officially move out by Sunday, if not tomorrow.

Pango has her furniture packed up in boxes as she prepares to move away.

Saharah Was…

Saharah was in town today, looking for old wallpaper. So I went around asking everyone for old wallpaper. Including Francine…believe it or not, I forgot Francine still lived in my town! I haven’t seen her in a while and I was thinking she moved out. Oops.

Anyway, Pango, Curly, and Ruby each gave me an old wallpaper, so I turned them in to Saharah. She gave me a classroom wall in exchange. Blah.

Saharah: Oh! You bring wallpaper! And how many...3! Mine now! Then I switched to my Scott character. I had him sell a few fossils and some fruit, but not too much. I got some deer scares in the mail that I ordered from Nook, so I had Scott replace the water birds in his maze room with deer scares. Bushy will love it. *donk* *donk* *donk*

Several deer scares in Scott's house.

Free Tarantula

While talking to Chief tonight, he asked if I wanted to buy a tarantula for 4,000+ bells. I thought that was strange that he was selling a tarantula…never saw that happen before. I didn’t remember how much they sold for, so I declined. (They actually sell for 8,000 bells so even the 4,000 bell price was a steal). But it worked out fine, because he then offered it to me for free! I gladly accepted it.

Chief: Here ya go. Have fun with it, harrumph.
