It was raining again today, so I didn’t have to water flowers. On the down side, no new black roses today. Saharah was in town, looking for old carpets. My villagers only gave me one, but I had two in storage from last time, so I ended up getting a sand garden. Not bad. I still need the lunar surface though. Maybe one of these years.
I’m Not Your Valentine, Pal
Yesterday I shot down Gulliver, so I knew he’d be washed up on the beach today. After waking him up and giving him his spaceship part, he finally gave me my reward… chocolates.

Chocolates?! Seriously? I’m not your Valentine, pal. Take these back and give me a real prize.

Wow, how disappointing. Chocolates don’t even belong in the same category as Gulliver’s other possible rewards, most of which are models from famous monuments around the world. For those who don’t know, the chocolates are just a box that you can’t open or eat. It’s the same as the chocolates that Tortimer will give you on GameCube for tending to the lighthouse when he goes on vacation. Oh well. Gulliver hasn’t seen the last of me, and I’ll get that Metroid from him someday. Mark my words! 😛
Anyway, I went on making my daily rounds. It was raining, so I didn’t have to do any watering. Bob had me make a delivery to Daisy.

And Francine was being her normal cheerful self.

I Made…
I made my daily rounds, finding two new black roses and a new blue rose today. I was able to play in the 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. time period, and Pete was not walking around town. That meant that Gulliver was likely to make an appearance in the first ten minutes of the hour. So I took my slingshot out and stood by.

Sure enough, he came by, and I shot him down. It’s my second time shooting him down. I found the gear piece and I’ll be sure to return it to Gulliver tomorrow so I can get a new item. Once again, I’ll be hoping for a Metroid.
