Fox & Otter

It’s Wednesday and that means Crazy Redd has new items, so I took the bus to the city to check them out. He had a cabana chair, a scenic painting, and a mini-lamp.

Crazy Redd's items for sale: a cabana chair, a scenic painting, and a mini-lamp.I wasn’t interested in any of those, so I made my way back to Forest. While walking around, I saw Pascal on my southern bridge.

Pascal: Hey, hook an otter up with a scallop, would ya, man?I gave him a scallop and he gave me a ship cannon. I also saw a balloon present and shot it down and found it contained a koopa shell. Of course I didn’t need it, since I already have one on my second floor. I then finished up my walk around town. Unfortunately, no new black roses appeared today.

A New Record!

It wasn’t raining in Forest tonight, so I took a trip to the city to see if it was raining there, and it was. Not a lot of people know this, but if it’s raining in the city, it waters your flowers…as long as you ride the bus back to your town before saving/quitting. So I didn’t have to water any flowers tonight. 🙂

As usual, I still took a stroll around Forest to see if any new black roses popped up, and I hit the JACKPOT tonight. FOUR new black roses! That’s a new record for me; I’ve never had more than three pop up in one day before. Very nice. One of them had a gold rose as a parent. I knew gold roses could breed, but I’ve never had a black rose come from a gold rose parent before. The other parent was apparently a purple rose.

I cut down a tree to expand my black rose area and I saw a beehive fall from the tree! Luckily, Tipper’s house was nearby, so I ran inside without getting stung. Tipper wasn’t too happy to see me… so I tipped her over. Haha just kidding.

Pango was outside and she lost her key. She was quite annoying about it. I don’t like her.

Two Blue Anteaters for the Price of One

Since it rained yesterday, there were no wilties today. I still watered my black roses though, because I don’t want them to wilt (and perhaps get turned into gold roses prematurely). I want to keep them as black roses for now, so they can breed into (hopefully) more black roses. Speaking of which, I had one new black rose pop up today.

While making my daily rounds, I ran into Pete. His presence meant that Gulliver would not be flying his UFO over town today. But I’m still going to keep trying to get Gulliver again, at least until I get a Metroid from him.

After talking to Antonio, I saw another blue tail that looked exactly like his. For a second I wondered if Antonio either teleported (it wasn’t on Wi-Fi, so that wasn’t likely) or if maybe he had a twin. It turned out it was Pango, my new neighbor (also a blue anteater) who just moved in today. For some reason, she was snooping around behind my house. Usually it’s Bob that does that. 😛

Pango: You know who you're looking at? The future music queen of Forest, that's who!If any of you have any questions about my town, just leave a comment and I’ll answer it in the next blog. You don’t have to register or anything to leave a comment, so it should be painless. 🙂
