Yesterday, Eloise asked me to join her on the bench in the north part of town (near the north beach, but up on the cliff). So I joined her briefly.
It was getting late, so I wanted to at least try to look for a new villager. I grabbed some Nook Miles Tickets out of storage, but I decided to use no more than three of them. My first trip took me to a tarantula island for the first time! There were a bunch of them walking around at once, and when I caught one of them, another one attacked me!
I ended up catching a total of five tarantulas. I could’ve caught more, but I needed to refocus on getting a new villager. Jitters was there, but I wasn’t interested in him.
But it is kind of funny how animals on mystery islands will fearlessly walk through a pack of tarantulas, while on our own islands, they freak out if they even see one.
On my next mystery island, which happened to a spiral island, I was very surprised to find Sasha!
Sasha is one of the new villagers added in the 2.0 update…and probably the cutest of the bunch. So I couldn’t resist inviting Sasha to Forest!
A few other quick notes about yesterday:
- I made another perfect snowboy, and he said he’d mail my reward.
- I got a DIY recipe for frozen floor tiles from a balloon present.
- Wisp gave me a shoji divider.
Today, I found Gullivarrr in town. Or at least, I found his head. 😛
I went diving for his communicator, and he will send me a gift later.
When I checked my mail, I found a frozen mini snowperson from the snowboy yesterday. I later made another perfect snowboy.
And of course, I went to greet the new green and white bunny in town. Welcome to Forest, Sasha!
Hey, I was wondering, in City Folk. When your trying to upgrade his store. Do u need to have someone come to your town and buy things or u can just upgrade Nook’s by buying/selling stuff?
Fortunately, you don’t need to do that in City Folk. You just need to spend a certain amount of bells to upgrade.
