Campers and Turnips

Last Friday, Norma the cow was camping at the campsite. She seemed nice, but I was not interested in asking her to moo move in.

Norma, at the campsite: Hi there! Do you live here? You're so lucky--I'm just visiting, hoof hoo.
I’m lucky that you’re just visiting? 😆

On Saturday evening, Ankha congratulated me on the fishing I did. But I was confused, because I hadn’t done any fishing!

Ankha: Good work doing all that fishing, touchdown. You made it look easy.

It turns out it was the day of the fishing tournament. However, it had already ended by the time I started up the game. So I don’t think Isabelle told me about it since it was already over by that point (or if she did, I just skimmed past it without it sinking in). 😆

Last week, I sold my turnips for a small profit. And this week, I bought even more. I purchased 8,300 turnips for a price of 95 bells apiece.

On Tuesday, Ketchup sent me this strawberry umbrella in the mail. And it’s such a Ketchup thing, with the little leaf and stem on top. Here’s a picture of me holding it while talking to Gulliver.

Gulliver: M-my, uh... OH MY GOSH!
Do you like it, or hate it?
Oh, he just lost his phone.

Yesterday, Axel the elephant was camping at the campsite. I like him more than I like Norma, but still not enough to inquire about kicking anyone out.

Axel, at the campsite: Do you live here? Awesome to meet you. I'm Axel.

Today, the Nooklings were paying 155 bells for turnips. I sold them all for 1,286,500 bells. I’m inching closer to the halfway point of my Nook Miles goal; currently 4.8m/10m. I need to keep buying lots of turnips like I have the past couple weeks, and maybe I’ll actually complete my goal this year. 😛

When I put my bells into my bank account, my balance topped 77 million bells (77.5 million to be more accurate).

Here are a few other quick notes about the past week:

  • Last Friday, Gullivarrr sent me some pirate boots.
  • K.K. Slider played K.K. Dirge for me and Midge on Sunday night.
  • Gulliver sent me a turban yesterday.

See you next time!
