Tonight, I saw Fuchsia and she asked me for a peach. Forest has millions of peaches, peaches for free, so I obliged. She gobbled it down and gave me a lovely carpet as thanks.
I also saw Saharah in town. For 3,000 bells, she gave me a new carpet and wallpaper.
So I went inside to see what she gave me.
She installed a modern wood wall and a sporty floor. The wall goes with my sofa, but I’m not quite enjoying the look of this floor/wall combination.
Back outside, Katt told me a package for Molly arrived at her house by mistake (shame on you, Pete). She asked if I would deliver it to Molly, and I agreed. Once I found her, she opened up the package. It was a lite polka shirt she had ordered. To thank me, she gave me an ironing set. Is this her way of telling me my clothes are wrinkled?
Soon after leaving Molly, I ran into another of my favorite villagers, Aurora. However, she wanted to start calling me “dearie” as a nickname! No thanks!
Next, I headed up to Main Street. The Nooklets’ shop is undergoing construction, as expected.
The Able Sisters had a beak for sale, and I was in a beak-wearing kind of mood, so I bought it. After I was done with my shopping, I decided to make one last stop at the Happy Homes Academy. Reggie from Nintendo was there, via SpotPass.
So I got to tour Reggie’s house! It was pretty loaded, so I’m pretty sure Reggie is a cheater. 😉 This was his Nintendo room:
I then went back to his gym/exercise room.
The left room in Reggie’s house is the kitchen. But why does he keep his Animal Crossing 3DS XL in the toaster? 😛
On the other side of the house is Reggie’s bedroom. I’m sorry, but that bedspread is just creepy.
I also went into his game room, which looks like a fun place to hang out. Anyone for a game of ping pong?
And the last room in Reggie’s house was his Japanese themed room.
And one of the cool features of the Happy Homes Showcase is the ability to order items! The prices will be 20% higher than what you would normally pay, but it gives you extra opportunities to shop for new items. I ordered a glass display case from the Nintendo room…
…and the neon sign from the exercise room.
That’s all for today. By the way, my hair guide is 99% completed. Look for it tomorrow!
Now I thought that meant Katrina had to be in town somewhere, since I figured I was falling for Katrina. But despite covering my entire town twice, I never spotted her tent! Weird.
When I talked to Aurora, she mentioned an Alyssa from Rosedale, who she met in a dream! She said Alyssa was a “pro listener.” Alyssa, if you happen to be reading this, hello! Feel free to leave a comment on this blog entry to let me know you saw this. But of course you don’t have to. 😛
I then went to the cafe to work for Brewster. Unfortunately, Fuchsia was the only customer whose order I got completely correct.
Still, Brewster rewarded me with some good coffee beans.
Back outside, in the dark, I ran into something that frightened me: Tabby. It’s like when you play Ocarina of Time and a skeleton suddenly pops up out of the ground in front of you. Ahhhh!
After regaining my composure, I continued on my trip around town. I saw Tex…
Uhh… what?? He was asking me to find him some furniture.
And at my town tree, I sat down to view my town history again. I noticed something I didn’t catch the first time. Take a look:
The Roost? I did not realize Brewster’s cafe was called The Roost again in New Leaf; they’ve just called it the cafe up to this point.
And Super T&T had a
Before I ended my night, I returned to Re-Tail to sell my four fossils (since they were all duplicates). I ran into Benedict on the way; he asked me if he smells good.
He sure did! Finger-lickin’ good!
He said he would be moving out on the 26th of this month, which would be next Wednesday.
I didn’t try to stop him. I forget the exact wording of the option I chose, but it was something along the lines of “okay” or “good luck.” However, he got insulted that I didn’t try to stop him!
So he said that because I didn’t ask him to stay, that means he needs to be a better friend to me. So now he’s staying! Ugh! Are you kidding me?!
Then today, the rain returned. I went to the work in the cafe. I started off good, getting Aurora’s coffee just right.
But Rory complained that I didn’t use the right beans. He didn’t specify which type of beans! Ugh! Why do tasks in Animal Crossing always have to be ridiculous guessing games?
After also messing up Molly’s cup of coffee, I finished up by getting Pelly’s coffee right (by sheer luck). I made two of the four customers’ orders correct, so Brewster rewarded me with some superb coffee beans.
After that, I headed back out into the rain. I collected my four fossils (all of which were duplicates) and headed into Club LOL. After I gave Shrunk a mango, he taught me the disagreement emotion.
I didn’t spend as much time in Forest today, but that’s because I think I overdid it yesterday. I’ll be back with more tomorrow. Thanks for visiting!
