As I headed to Re-Tail today, I spotted Phineas! He gave me the K.K. Slider Fan badge.
I also went to the Roost. I couldn’t work since today is an event day, but I spoke to Kapp’n. He was his usual weird self.
And when I talked to Teddy, he told me an interesting tip. If you take a fossil to Cyrus at Re-Tail, he can turn it into a miniature! But you need to have all of the pieces of the fossil.
Over by my face-cutout standee, I saw a piece of furniture. But wherever did it come from? However, I had a strong feeling it was not a piece of furniture, but instead a walking leaf. They’ve fooled me enough in City Folk that it didn’t fool me this time. I got my net out, went up to it, and caught the little bugger!
And while talking to Molly, she gave me a blue tie-dye tee for free.
So I went ahead and put it on. I’m blue Jeff once again. I also talked to Aurora, and she told me that she slices her vegetables to the beat of K.K. Technopop. Interesting. Exactly what vegetables do penguins eat?
Nintendo released a new Nintendo Zone DLC available in America today, so I picked up the new afternoon-tea set. Unfortunately, it can not be ordered from the catalog.
Then later, at 7:00, I opened up my gate for the final fireworks festival of the year. Tom41 and Daisy came over to visit. I made sure to get my star bopper from Isabelle.
We bought some of Redd’s cookies, watched the fireworks in the sky, and set off some of our own.
I also remembered to say goodbye to Tex. This was his last day in Forest.
Tom kept sneezing on me, so I got my net out and caught his cold.
A bit later, Tom showed us an invisibility glitch. I first pushed Tom and Daisy onto the tracks, then they ran all the way to the right. I’m not sure of the details since I couldn’t see them, but they soon “appeared” by the beach invisibly. I could see their emotions, and that’s it. After a couple minutes, Daisy appeared somehow. But Tom was still invisible.
He ran around on the beach, and we could even see his footsteps. After several minutes, he told us if we dug a hole, he could “fall” into it and be visible again. So we did, and out of nowhere, Tom appeared in the hole.
I felt like I had just witnessed his birth.
After that, Tom had to leave. I bought some more cookies from Redd. I ended up winning a love tester and an ultra hand. Soon, Wendy came over to join in the fun. I had given Isabelle a stag beetle pattern (one of my default patterns), so it was displayed as a firework.
We got disconnected at 8:00. I had been planning on ending around then anyway, so I didn’t reopen my gate. But one of my animals told me that Tabby was sick, so I thought I’d buy some medicine. And then not give it to her. In fact, I plopped in her bed myself. Tabby, please don’t look at me like that.
She moped around, shivering and just being her gross self.
She told she felt useless today. Just today? Anyway, I felt sorry for her and gave her the medicine.
I then returned home to take a look at all my new stuff for today. From front to back, just left of center, is my love tester, ultra hand, and afternoon-tea set.
That wrapped up my night in Animal Crossing New Leaf. But I have one other thing to show you all: my town page. It shows my town map, list of villagers, pictures of my public works projects, town history, dream address, and other info. I’ll be updating that page regularly, so I hope you’ll check it out from time to time. Thank you all for reading and I’ll be back tomorrow!
When I saw Rolf, he reminded me that tomorrow is the last fireworks festival of the year.
I found my fossils and money rock, then headed up to Main Street for a shopping run. T.I.Y. had Forest Life, so I snatched that up right away.
In the Able Sisters’ shop, I saw Benedict. He warned me not to copy his style, because people might get the two of us confused. Right…
In Labelle’s section of the store, I bought myself a wizard’s cap.
Wendy came over to shop, and then we made a quick trip to the island. The hide-and-seek tour was there again today! At one point, it wasn’t available for at least six weeks, and now I’ve seen it about six times in the past two weeks. I was glad to see it, but I was a bit busy, so we only did one game of it today.
And then later on tonight, I went to see K.K. perform at Club LOL. I asked him for a sad song, and he performed K.K. Dirge! Whaaa?
That’s all for today, but I’ll be back tomorrow with more. I’ll be opening my gate around 7:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time for the fireworks festival. For those of you on my roster, please stop by!
And then at 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Daisy, Wendy, and Patty came over to visit.
I talked to Tex and he said felt like drinking some tomato juice. I’ll say one thing about Tex, he’s definitely unique. He doesn’t fit into any stereotypes. He’s a penguin, named Tex, that dances to R&B music, and drinks tomato juice. Do you know any other penguins like that? I sure don’t.
When I saw Benedict, he asked me to take a petition to another town. It’s for Toffee Appreciation Day.
Before long, Patty left and Joey came in. He brought Katie with him.
Before long, we all disconnected. So I reopened the gate. Wendy came, and then Daisy came back as well. But Daisy also brought Katie. Unfortunately, we soon disconnected once again. When I reopened, Wendy and Daisy returned. In the cafe, I think Brewster was threatening me. Did you hear that everyone? Brewster is threatening me!
I went to visit Molly, and I noticed something. She’s so short that you can barely see her behind her couch.
At 11:00, we gathered at the modern clock to watch it light up at the top of the hour.
A bit later, Joey returned. So we had a full house once again. We headed out to the island.
While there, we caught some fish and bugs. Joey felt that I stole this cyclommatus stag from him. Too bad, so sad. 😛
We also did a hide-and-seek tour (my favorite), but then we got disconnected once again. So annoying. When I reopened my gate for the last time, Wendy and Daisy returned, and Nick also joined in. We headed back out to the island for several hide-and-seek tours. All three of them were trolling me, doing the Shrunk Funk Shuffle to delay the boat ride.
During one of the tours, Wendy found the animal Wendy! So apparently, she found herself.
I was not doing well at the tours tonight. But hide-and-seek is a team game, so we all get the medals.
When we were done, we returned to Forest and I ended the party. But all of the visitors tonight put my total visitor count at over 100. So Porter informed me that I can now remodel my train station! Awesome!
I backtracked to town hall to take a look at the three options. Here are pictures of them all:

Much like the town hall options, none of them really jump out at me. I may end up going with the third one, even though it is a bit plain. But I haven’t decided for sure just yet. Anyway, Wendy was opening her gate for me so I could get petition signatures for Benedict. And in her town Oakville, they were just lining up to sign!
I soon got all the signatures I needed.
I returned to Forest and gave the petition to Benedict. He could not hide his excitement. Not even with the clipboard. Ahem.
To thank me, he gave me an imperial wall. Seriously? All those signatures for wallpaper? Ugh.
