I got my basic painting in the mail from Crazy Redd today. But unfortunately, it turned out to be a fake.
I saw Teddy fishing by my bridge, and it was pretty funny to see how he talks to the fish to try to get them to bite. Good luck with that, Teddy.
And today was Rolf’s birthday! I went over to his house, and Aurora was there helping him celebrate.
My favorite white tiger was glad that I came to his party.
He asked if I had a present for him. So I ended up giving him the basic painting. But somehow, he knew it was a fake.
I waited until both of their backs were turned, and I stealthily swiped a finger-full of frosting.
Once I left the party, I headed back outside. I talked to Pete and he told me how he’s been holding some fish in his bill pouch. I really didn’t need to know all that.
Then I saw Tex, and he told me he was going to be dancing to R&B music all night. I never would have guessed.
After a shopping run on Main Street, I rode Kapp’n’s boat out to a Club Tortimer island. Someone named Herobrin from Home was there, but he just stood there motionless for a long time.
After 5-10 minutes, he finally said hi. I said hi again, and then he said “ok” and left. Allllrighty then. A few minutes later, someone else came in: Marron from Blothing. We played for a few minutes, but then we got disconnected. Unfortunately, I even lost the bugs and fish that I caught while Herobrin was there. Apparently, it doesn’t even save when someone enters or exits the island. So annoying. I’m not a big fan of Club Tortimer, if you can’t tell.
After the disconnection, I appeared back at my dock. I saw two sharks there! Unfortunately, I only caught one of them, since the first one’s splash scared the second one away.

Aurora asked me to bury a time capsule for her. I put it in the northwest corner of town, as usual. I keep them all in that area so they’re easy to find when the time comes up to dig up the
While working a shift at the cafe, this “Beardo” creature came in. What in the world is this thing??
There were a pair of tents in town today. One was Crazy Redd’s tent, where I bought this basic painting.
The other tent was at the campsite, where Penelope was camping.
After she was done talking about the voices in her head, she wanted me to play a game where I flattered her!
I had no intentions of lying to the crazy mouse, so I declined the offer and left the tent. Back outside, I ran into Tex. He told me that he plans on moving out of Forest because nobody “gets” him.
You can include me in that too, so I didn’t try to stop him. He’ll be moving out on the 25th.
That’s all for tonight, but I’ll be back with more tomorrow. And as usual, I’ll be opening my gate this Friday at 10pm Eastern U.S. time. I don’t have the roster space to add new people, but the people already on my roster are welcome to come over for a visit.
I worked a shift at the cafe and earned more superb coffee beans. But in Re-Tail, there was no room for more. I had to buy Big Top’s vertigo shirt in order to make room for my beans. I had six things of
Only five more to go! Up on Main Street, Tom Nook had an astro roof for sale. I’m not in love with it, but it matches my astro exterior and door. Tom Nook will install it tomorrow.
I had been asked to make a delivery to Teddy. So I went to his house, and to my surprise, I saw Benedict in there with him! What’s going on in here? I’m going to assume they were about to cosplay Banjo-Kazooie.
I gave Teddy his package, and Benedict seemed to give Teddy a peck on the cheek. But he may have just had some corn lodged in his fur. Corn easily sticks to honey, and Old Big Bear likes the honey.
Anyway, Teddy gave me a modern wood chair for returning his item. Much like the sleek sofa earlier, the modern wood chair is a piece to a set I’m collecting, but it’s a piece I already had.
UPDATE: Just wanted to mention that even though Katie didn’t go with me to Wendy’s town yesterday, she still sent me a letter and gift. The letter said “To Jeff. Were you worried when I missed the train? It’s OK. I got the next one and continued my travels! Here’s a present for you!” And she attached a digital-photo frame to the letter.
