Completing the Insect Collection

Gulliver sent me a Rooster of Barcelos in the mail, and I put it in my egg room (with my Easter furniture).

On the bulletin board, a notice says that the rainy season will start at the end of June. I’m not sure if that’s correct, because it seems like we get a lot of rainfall in June, even before the end of the month. Well, I’m not going to wait that long to switch back to the night owl town ordinance; I’ll probably do that around the beginning of June, if not late May.

~ Weather Forecast ~ Warm, early-summer-like weather should continue. If this pattern keeps up, the rainy season will start at the end of June.Crazy Redd had his tent set up at the event plaza today. I already had three of his four items, so I took a chance on this warm painting. And yes, I know there are painting guides out there, but I choose not to use them. I try to play as legit as possible. I do use my hair guide, but it only affects the look of your character and doesn’t help you progress further in the game.

Redd: Oh ho! Am I mistaken? Because I see ya lookin' pretty close at that warm painting right there!Back outside, Big Top asked me to make a delivery to Nan. So I tracked her down and gave her the item. She rewarded me with something I wasn’t expecting from a nice old goat: a steamroller!

Nan: It's a steamroller! No living room is complete without a steamroller! Er, maybe. But when Kidd asked me to find him some new furniture, I knew exactly what to give him!

Kidd: I see... So you decided to go with a steamroller, huh? That's a pretty stylish choice! He thanked me for the stylish steamroller and gave me a blue bookcase.

Over by town hall, Tia asked for a new greeting. I told her to say “read my leaves!”

Tia: Read my leaves! How can I help, ice cube? After the rain stopped, I went up to the Dream Suite to update my dream town. Luna told me Logan from Hilloi was my most recent dream visitor.

I then went hunting for a pondskater, which was the last bug I needed. Before long, I spotted one! I had to wait for it to come close enough to the edge of the river, but then I nabbed it! Yes!

I've caught every type of bug!I quickly took it up to Blathers at the museum and donated it.

Blathers: Our insect exhibit is complete! Oh, how my heart flutters just to imagine it.Blathers: Ick! Perhaps flutters is the wrong word for it! More like SHUDDERS! But, I'll manage, I suppose. So now the only section of the museum that isn’t complete is the art gallery. It looks like I still need eight paintings and three statues. This one’s going to take a while, I think.

Princess Daisy has submitted two new path patterns to the QR Codes page, so check them out if you’d like.
