Gulliver sent me a Rooster of Barcelos in the mail, and I put it in my egg room (with my Easter furniture).
On the bulletin board, a notice says that the rainy season will start at the end of June. I’m not sure if that’s correct, because it seems like we get a lot of rainfall in June, even before the end of the month. Well, I’m not going to wait that long to switch back to the night owl town ordinance; I’ll probably do that around the beginning of June, if not late May.
Crazy Redd had his tent set up at the event plaza today. I already had three of his four items, so I took a chance on this warm painting. And yes, I know there are painting guides out there, but I choose not to use them. I try to play as legit as possible. I do use my hair guide, but it only affects the look of your character and doesn’t help you progress further in the game.
Back outside, Big Top asked me to make a delivery to Nan. So I tracked her down and gave her the item. She rewarded me with something I wasn’t expecting from a nice old goat: a steamroller!
No living room is complete without a steamroller! Er, maybe. But when Kidd asked me to find him some new furniture, I knew exactly what to give him!
He thanked me for the stylish steamroller and gave me a blue bookcase.
Over by town hall, Tia asked for a new greeting. I told her to say “read my leaves!”
After the rain stopped, I went up to the Dream Suite to update my dream town. Luna told me Logan from Hilloi was my most recent dream visitor.
I then went hunting for a pondskater, which was the last bug I needed. Before long, I spotted one! I had to wait for it to come close enough to the edge of the river, but then I nabbed it! Yes!
I quickly took it up to Blathers at the museum and donated it.

So now the only section of the museum that isn’t complete is the art gallery. It looks like I still need eight paintings and three statues. This one’s going to take a while, I think.
Princess Daisy has submitted two new path patterns to the QR Codes page, so check them out if you’d like.
***GIVEAWAY RESULTS***
And now it’s time to announce the winner of the giveaway for the sci-fi furniture! I took all valid entries and put them in a spreadsheet. I then used random.org to choose a random number that corresponds to a winner. And the winner is…
nintendocrossing!
Congrats to nintendocrossing! I’ve sent a message on Tumblr, so please respond and let me know when we can work out a time to drop the prize off. The prize must be delivered by Friday night, otherwise I’ll have to select a replacement winner. But thanks to all who entered and congrats to nintendocrossing! And thanks to Mark, who made this giveaway possible.
If you didn’t win this time, don’t worry. There will be more giveaways in the future!
And Gulliver was down on the beach. By his hints, I knew he was headed to Portugal.
I found a lost item near my waterfall, so I started taking it to my villagers to ask them about it.
I went into Aurora’s house, and I was quite surprised to see Kidd in there, too! She thought Kidd and I planned it that way.
But the lost item didn’t belong to either of them. I later found out it was Rolf’s book. He thanked me for returning it and he gave me a spade tee. I didn’t have the heart to tell him I was never going to wear it.
Agent S asked me to catch a butterfly for her, but I didn’t see any flying around. (It was already pretty late by the time I started playing). So I went out to the island and caught an emperor butterfly for her. She loved it and rewarded me with an exotic table.
At the Dream Suite, Luna told me Brenda from Santa C. was my most recent dream visitor. The stores on Main Street were closed, so I didn’t get to shop at all today.
I went out to the island today and tried an official scavenger hunt tour. I went from house to house, collecting the required furniture. I finished in under three minutes, which earned me a gold Tortimer award and 13 medals.
Over by my video screen, I heard the pinging sound of a flea jumping around; Molly has fleas!
In the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Mike from Vertakon was my most recent dream visitor. And later, I went over to Mark’s town to drop off a scenic painting I had for him. I tried taking a picture, only to see that I blinked. So I tried again, and he blinked. Ugh.
As I was leaving, Kugro came in to adopt Fang from Mark. If you’re reading this, hi Kugro!
