Father’s Day

Today was Father’s Day, and I got a letter in the mail from dear ol’ Dad himself.

Dear Jeff, POP'S QUIZ! Do you know what day it is today?! It's Father's Day! -DadI went to check on Lily, and I saw her house lights were on. I was afraid she might be in boxes, but fortunately she wasn’t. Even better, I was able to talk her out of moving.

Lily: What's wrong with me?! The answer is so obvious! I'm going to stay, unlike you!And as I crossed my southern bridge, I saw a tarantula–the first one I’ve seen this year! I backed up a bit and got my net out. Then I slowly walked up to it and swung my net…success!

I caught a tarantula! I don't wanna arm-wrestle this guy!I hope your Father’s Day was tarantula-free! See you next time!

Lily Leaving?

With Friga saved, now Lily wants to move out of town! Unacceptable!

Lily: Who knows, though! I can't really say I've made up my mind yet, unlike you...I asked her to stay, but she wouldn’t commit. I’m going to have to try her again another time soon.

Kiki was remembering her town tune from when she used to live in Yann’s town Tropical. She talked about how music can bring back memories, and that’s very true. However, I was unable to save a picture of her saying it.

In Elmer’s house, my favorite horse said I should invite some friends over to visit.

Elmer: Mr. J, if any of your friends are free, please tell 'em to come visit!Even Nintendo’s own characters haven’t heard the news about online play ending for Wii! Sorry buddy, I’m the only human you’re ever going to see again.

Unfortunately, I played a bit too late to catch a performance from K.K. tonight.

Friga’s Indecision

The other night, I talked to Kiki and she said it was a sunny day. For one thing, it’s night, not day. And that’s not the sun, or even the moon you see…it’s a firefly!

Kiki: On a sunny day like this, I think I could just sit and stare up at the sky all day.Lily was sick, so I took her some medicine. She’s surprisingly agile for being sick…and for having such a huge head.

Lily flips as she takes her medicine.Friga told me she wants to move out of town tonight.

Friga: Hi, old dog. You know how there are times in life when you need to stretch your wings?I don’t want anybody to move out right now (unless it’s Mallary), so I told her not to go. She initially refused. But later on, I got her to agree to stay.

Friga: But now you've made me realize that I have friends in Forest I can't leave quite yet!
