June is here now, and it didn’t take me long to catch my first summer bug yesterday: A rainbow stag!
That was a quick 10,000 bells, and I actually caught another one later on. 😎
Gwen asked me to catch a black bass for her, and I decided to be nice and help out. It took me a little while, but I eventually caught one. When I took it back to her, she gave me a birdhouse. Just what I…never needed. 😛
Tonight, I spotted something I don’t see very often any more: A new black rose!
I moved it to a safer location near my house.
Saharah was in town, and she was looking for old wallpaper. So I started asking around. But as I did, I accidentally ran through a gold rose and killed it. So even if my new black rose lives long enough to be turned into a gold rose, I won’t do any better than breaking even. Oops.
After asking all of my villagers about wallpaper, only two Gs (Gwen and Goldie) helped me out.
I also grabbed one out of storage, so I had three to give Saharah. In return, she gave me a backgammon wall. Even though I don’t particularly care for it, it was one that I still needed for my catalog.
Saharah’s rare pieces are way too hard to get in this game! There are others I still need, too (namely the lunar surface).
June is the only month in which fireflies appear (well…mostly). And I saw quite a few of them by the river tonight. I always seem to appreciate them more at the start of June, and then later on, I ignore them and don’t even notice they’re gone until August or so. 😂
Big Top has been sick with a cold, so I gave him medicine yesterday, and then again today. Get well soon, big guy!
