Tangy’s Best Friend

On Saturday, I noticed the sky was such a deep shade of blue. It was beautiful! Maybe I just don’t see this color very often because I usually play in the evening or at night.

A deep blue sky over Forest's gate.

On Sunday, I saw Kitty outside. She looked thirsty, so I gave her some water.

Yesterday, Samson approached me and wanted me to buy his propane stove for 1,965 bells. Since I was feeling generous, I went ahead and bought it, I tell you what.

Samson: Anyway, this is an old propane stove I had, tweedledee.
“I sell propane and propane accessories.”

I saw a balloon present flying above, so I got my slingshot out and shot it down…after removing a piece of my path. Inside, I found a TV with a VCR.

Shooting down a balloon present

Today, I found a paw shirt and a Jingle shirt in the recycle bin. I put the paw shirt on…for the moment, at least.

When I spoke with Champ, he told me he puts all of his essential items in his gym bag so he doesn’t forget them. That includes his lifting gloves, his sunglasses, extra sweats, and…a long ribbon on a stick?!

Champ: I got my lifting gloves, my shades, extra sweats... Oh, yeah! And a long ribbon on a stick.

He said you never know when someone’s going to jump out and challenge you to a rhythmic-gymnastics duel! That’s not something I can picture Champ doing, but it sure would be funny if something like that actually happened in the game! πŸ˜€

At Able Sisters, I saw a flame shirt for sale. I like that shirt, and it’s one that I don’t think I’ve worn recently, so I bought it. This shirt is πŸ”₯.

Tabby asked me to make a delivery to Benedict, and I agreed to help out. It turns out, she sent him a Dutch shirt!

Benedict: Well, I don't know if it's EXACTLY my style, but since it's a present, I guess I should try it on!

I feel kinda bad for Hen Ben, even though it is kinda funny. Everyone keeps dressing him up like a girl! He was already wearing a pink wave shirt (though I don’t remember where it came from), Savannah sent him a waitress shirt before, he wore a bikini during Pitfall Pandemonium, and now Tabby is dressing him up like a Dutch girl. πŸ˜€

Opal asked me for some cabin furniture, and I had just seen a cabin armchair at Nook ‘n’ Go. So I went back and bought it for her. Opal rewarded me with a backyard fence.

Poor Tangy was locked out of her house, so I went fishing for her key. It only took me a few tries to find it. When I took it back to Tangy, she was so grateful that she called me her best friend. Aww, how cute. I guess it was the key to her heart.

Tangy: La la, Bro J! My best friend, Bro J!
Orange you glad I found your key?

Interestingly, she also rewarded me with a backyard fence! How odd to get the exact same reward from back-to-back favors, just a few minutes apart. I’m not complaining though, even if the grass is always greener on the other side. πŸ˜‰

Okay, now it’s time for a video update. As for the main video I’ve been working on, I still need that one clip to finish it up. Once I’m able to record it, I will post the video (and the accompanying blog entry) ASAP. It could be tomorrow, it could be a few days, or it could be next week. I really don’t know.

But since it was taking so long, I went ahead and posted the other video I made. It’s a short (one-minute) video, and it’s just a fun, silly thing I came up with. What’s inside the snowball? I hope you’ll watch it…and make sure you don’t miss the last clip. πŸ˜‰

Valentine’s Day 2018

Monday was Festivale, and while I didn’t participate in the candy-hunting games, I did say hello to PavΓ©.

Pave: VIVA... ...FESTIVALE!

After I found a big bro’s shirt in the recycle bin, Benedict wanted to trade with me. He gave me a splendid shirt in return, and I decided to put it on for a while.

I’ve been playing ACCF every day this week, as I record some more clips for a video that’s coming very soon. In fact, yesterday, I also got the inspiration for yet another video…and recorded much of it as well.

Today was Valentine’s Day, and Opal the elephant was my valentine this year. I would have preferred Tangy, but I can’t complain. Opal has been in town longer, so it’s understandable. And at least it wasn’t Tabby! Anyway, Opal sent me this nice valentine letter and a chocolate heart.

Dear Jeff, No matter how grown-up I get, my heart races when I see chocolate! So, please enjoy this gift, from my heart to yours! -From: Opal

At the Roost, I made sure to order a hot drink. On February 14th only, Brewster serves hot chocolate instead of coffee. Sweet and delicious.

Brewster: ...Happy Valentine's Day.

Static was feeling cold outside, but he also seemed a bit lonely. He wished there was a nice girl that would offer to share her scarf with him.

Static: I sure wish there was a nice girl out there willing to share her scarf or something, tweedledee.

When I ran into Tabby, I showed her a mirror.

Tabby: Eeek! Monster!

Haha, actually I was just making a delivery for Tangy. Tabby, in all of her brilliance, somehow mistook an exotic lamp for a monster. I don’t even know how that’s possible. Unless she just saw her reflection in the lamp. Anyway, Tangy rewarded me with a plaza wall for making the delivery.

That’s all I have for now, but I’ll be back with another entry (and video) any day now. I just need one more specific thing to happen. It’s not something that’s rare, so it shouldn’t be more than a few days (I hope). As for the other video I mentioned, look for it sometime next week. In the meantime, feel free to browse through any of my 122 existing ACCF videos. πŸ˜›

Update: It’s taking me longer than expected to get that last clip I need. So I may go ahead and upload the other video first. Look for it soon onΒ Youtube.

No Mercy

Tabby the genius locked herself out of her house tonight. Rather than sticking her lazy paws in the river to get her key out, she just wanted to cry about how there’s no food outside and she’s going to have to eat dirt, sticks, and bugs. Nevermind the fact that she was surrounded by coconuts as she said all of this.

Tabby: WAAAAAAAAH! I'm gonna have to eat DIRT and stuff, tweedledee! And sticks! And buuuuuuugs!

As you could probably guess, I did not help her look for her house key.

I saw two snowballs around town, and I decided to build a snowman. But I made sure to build a disfigured snowman. He wasn’t happy about how he looked.

Snowman: It would have been more merciful to leave me as disconnected flakes, unable to hear the scorn of others.
Nah, now you can suffer like everyone else.

Samson was feeling under the weather, so I bought some medicine for him. He used his newfound cheerleading skills to backflip the medicine down.

Samson flips as he takes his medicine in Animal Crossing: City Folk (ACCF) for Nintendo Wii.

Wendell the starving artist walrus was in town, but I didn’t speak with him.

I may have my next ACCF video ready by next weekend. It’s not another pitfall video or anything like that, though. In a way, I’m making the video for New Leaf players…who may not realize (or may have forgotten) some of the unique things you can do in City Folk. I’ll have a bonus blog entry to accompany it as well. See you next week!
