Missing Link?

Scoot was sick today…maybe it was from eating all that ash during the fireworks festival. 😉 But I gave him some medicine, so hopefully he’ll start feeling better soon.

There was a new house in town, so I went inside to meet Iggly’s replacement: It was Bluebear the…blue bear. 😆

Bluebear: Oh! Hiya! I'm Bluebear! I'm gonna, like, take the world by STORM! Tee hee!

I like her, and she’s an improvement over Iggly. (Sorry, Iggly.) But it’ll be nice to have her around. Welcome to Forest, Bluebear!

Big Top recently asked me for a new catchphrase, and I told him to say “it’s Link.” I guess I’m a bit excited about the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake coming out in November. 😛

But speaking of Big Top, he asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek this afternoon. He gave me ten minutes to find him, Apollo, and Pecan. My eagle eyes led me to Apollo almost instantly. He was trying to hide behind Willow’s house.

Apollo, during a game of hide-and-seek: Well, pickle and can me! It looks like I've been found.

About a minute later, I found Big Top behind a tree near Nook ‘n’ Go. He told me there was only one person left to find…but his catchphrase fit in quite nicely.

Big Top: There's only one of us left for you to find? Well, good luck, it's Link!
I’ll have to find the missing Link! 😉

With 6+ minutes remaining on the game timer, I found Pecan next to Able Sisters. (It wasn’t Link after all.) But I was surprised to see that Big Top had already shared his new catchphrase with her!

Pecan: OH NO! Can't you pretend you didn't see me, it's Link?

I won the game, and Big Top rewarded me with his mega dingloid.

Shortly after that, I wrapped up my game for the afternoon. But I returned (briefly) tonight, mainly just to check out K.K. Slider’s concert. I asked him for a random song, and he performed “King K.K.” for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: King K.K..
