Saharah was in town today, looking for some old wallpaper. So I began to ask around to see if any of my villagers had any to give me. My search started out well when Mott handed one over.

But my good luck didn’t last. One after another, villagers denied my request. And many of them treated it like a big joke.

The very last villager I asked about it, Aurora, actually had some wallpaper to give me. Thanks, Aurora! But two wasn’t enough, and I didn’t have any extras in storage this time.

Anyway, Jay told me that he was going to be moving out of town. I told him not to go, but he said it’s too late. I guess I’ll see what happens with him next time.

Not much else was going on in town today, so I took the bus out to the city. I saw my favorite zebra there, Savannah. She said her shoes were dirty, and she wanted to get a shoe shine…but Kicks was not in the city today.

Peewee was totally judging her right there.

Benedict sent me a letter, thanking me for the medicine I took him when he was sick recently. He included a gift (a Florence flask) with the letter.

Alli was telling me how much she enjoys catching bugs tonight: She walks quietly with her net out and then pounces. But she’s an alligator; why does she need a net? And why doesn’t she go after larger prey?

Meanwhile, Aurora was more enamored with fossils.

I ran into Static, and he seemed to notice the Florence flask in my pocket for some reason. He offered to give me a shirt for it. Not a very fair trade, but I agreed to the exchange just to be nice.

Shortly after 9:00 tonight, the skies came to life. I enjoyed my view of the northern lights from one of my town’s bridges. This is the first time I’ve seen them this winter.

I finished up my night with a visit to the Roost. I enjoyed a live performance of K.K. Casbah before saving my game.

Tonight, Alli told me she lost the key to her house. I had no interest in helping her out, though. Nothing personal, I just think these key-fetching quests are annoying. I’m glad these didn’t make it into New Leaf.

Benedict was still sick today, so I gave him some medicine.

I found a new house in town, and it belongs to Tutu the bear. She seemed a bit offended that I just walked into her house. This is a video game. Get used to it, honey.

Broccolo asked me to find a fossil for him. Apparently, he thinks fossils are like candy that grows in the ground. I was feeling generous (and I had a T-rex skull in my pockets), so I granted his wish.

Twiggy asked me to deliver a present to Jay, and I decided to help out. It was a shirt, and Jay said that the neck hole was a little small. Still, he decided to wear it anyway to be nice. He said he’ll just try not to swallow.
