In Forest today, we had a rare rainfall. So I didn’t have to water my flowers, but I still checked around for new black roses. Surprisingly, I had three of them today! I haven’t been getting many new ones lately. I talked to Rowan, and he said he was going to move out of town. But I asked him to stay and he reluctantly agreed.
Later on, I started up my Bananas town. Today was the grand reopening of Nook ‘n’ Go!
I went down by the beach and Tortimer was there. My lighthouse has been completed too!
I had invited Megan, Yann, and Ryan over. Unfortunately, Ryan had trouble connecting and couldn’t make it, but Megan and Yann stopped over, and we tried to get the lighthouse glitch to work.
We tried. And tried. And tried and tried and tried. We tried different techniques, but nothing worked. If any of you are familiar with the lighthouse glitch, does the landmass (see pic above) look compatible with the glitch? I know some land shapes won’t work, such as the one in Forest, but I was hoping to be able to do the glitch in Bananas. We ended up a bit confused.
After stepping away for a minute, I returned to find Meg had dug a bunch of holes.
For reasons unknown, I declared ownership of a certain bridge and dug holes to protect it.
Even though the glitch attempts weren’t successful, I still had a good time tonight. At the end of this month, I will be opening Bananas to everyone on my roster. It’ll be the last weekend of the month; stay tuned for the details.
While walking around town, I saw Bob from across the river. I waved to him.
I then went over to talk to him. He told me about an interesting dream he had. In his dream, he won the fishing tournament and a giant sea bass congratulated him. It sounds more like a nightmare to me!
I can now put the path back where it’s supposed to be, instead of re-routing it around her house.
While watering my flowers, Rowan wanted to talk to me. He wanted a new greeting. Even he is looking forward to Animal Crossing New Leaf!
While walking up my ramp, I talked to Jeremiah and he wanted to play hide-and-seek. He found two friends (Robin and Rowan–that almost sounds like Rockin’ and Rollin’) and we got underway.
Jeremiah was the first one I found, just a bit southeast of town hall.
Robin and Rowan were both rockin’ and rollin’ up by the Able Sisters, so it wasn’t too hard to find them all this time.
Jeremiah gave me a ranch bookcase as my reward for winning the game. I then finished up my flowers and saved my game.
