A new villager moved in today: Sydney the koala. The interesting thing about her moving in is that I now have two animals that are in both my Wii town and my GameCube town: Sydney and Robin.
I watered my flowers and found three new black roses today. Around 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Yann, Brian, and Roy came over to visit. Roy hadn’t played in a very long time, but he was actually one of the first few people I played with back when the game came out in 2008. He was even in the very first Wi-Fi Moments video.
We did some glitching and hung out in my house for a while.
Later, we were outside and some of us were shooting our slingshots. I noticed that the moon was in the middle of my “orange” constellation again.
Of course, we also visited some animals.
Brian posted to my bulletin board, joking about some Australian stereotypes.
And a net fight broke out in front of town hall.
We later ran into Jambette, so we joined forces to beat her.
Around 12:15, Brian left and Megan came in. We soon found ourselves back in Bob’s house, where Megan slept in Bob’s bed.
Roy took off his hat and bandages to try to look like me. He did a pretty good job of it.
But Roy put his bandages back on later, in Nook’s store.
And at 1:00, we did the Nook door glitch (Roy hadn’t seen it yet).
Yann said Del told her about a charm to plant two trees in Forest, so she planted them. And I tried to burn them. Look closely in the following picture and you can see a nosy Avery watching us.
Around 1:20, both Roy and Megan left. Yann and I talked about a variety of topics such as Halloween, chess, and grilled cheese sandwiches. We then tried to do glitches in the gate area.
We got it to do some minor glitching, but our players didn’t get stuck. So it’s not as noteworthy as some of the other glitches, but it was fun to experiment with regardless. Around 2:25, I closed my gate for the night.
I asked all nine of my villagers (nobody moved in to replace Eloise yet) and only Iggly had an old carpet for me. So I checked my storage, but I didn’t have any in there. No rare carpet for me this time.
He rewarded me with a cabin armchair. When I talked to Robin, she inexplicably gave me a pink zap suit. Can’t she see I’m already wearing a green zap suit?
So if I have this, does that mean that somewhere out there, the Pink Power Ranger is feeling pretty cold right about now?
When I was done in Forest, I went to the city to check Crazy Redd’s new items for the week. He had a garbage pail, a moving painting, and a writing desk. Nothing I needed.
I installed the creepy wallpaper, and this is my room with the full creepy set. (Of course the candle, gyroid, and Metroids are not part of the set).
The DLC schedule now returns to the usual release of one item per month, as opposed to the two-per-month schedule we’ve been enjoying for the past five months. The next DLC item will be the mush hanger, starting on November 1st.
I made my way around town to water flowers. On the way, I ran into Jambette. She offered me a dirt-clod wall for free, and I declined.
I talked to Rowan and he asked me to make a delivery to Robin for him. No problem.
I then found Robin and gave her the present. It was kitchen flooring.
I returned to Rowan and told him the delivery was complete. He thanked me and gave me a common wall as a reward.
I then talked to Bob and he wanted me to give a message to Guest. So I switched to my Guest character, went to Bob, told him the secret word “furniture,” and he gave me a folk guitar. He also commented on Guest’s bed-head.
