I opened my mail today and got a letter from Chip. He congratulated me for winning the fishing tournament yesterday.
He also sent a gold trophy attached to the letter.
I then took the bus to the city. I meant to go into the theater, but went in the Happy Room Academy (HRA) by mistake. Since I was there, I decided to look at the model room.
The theme was the room with the best feng shui, and that happened to be Megan’s awesome music room.
I then went into the theater to check this week’s new emotions. How many years is it going to take before I get to see outrage there??
I returned to Forest to water my flowers. When I saw Bob, he asked me to make a delivery to Egbert.
I also saw Anabelle, who asked me for a new catchphrase. After thinking for a moment, I told her to say “up my nose.”
I got to Egbert’s house and gave him Bob’s package. It contained a gray tartan, which he put on immediately.
I returned to Bob and told him I made the delivery. He thanked me by giving me a Persian wall.
Soon after, Jambette approached me with an exclamation point. I was hoping she was going to move out, but she just wanted to sell me a daffodil. So I declined. I then went up the hill, and as she looked up at me, I dumped water on her face. It didn’t even make a dent in her 18 layers of make-up.
By the time I finished my run around town, I found a total of four new black roses. That’s a very productive day.
The fishing tournament was going on, so I talked to Chip. He told me that Jambette was in first place! Oh no, that won’t do!
I was determined to win the tournament, if for no other reason than to prevent Jambette from winning. But first, I had to water my flowers. On my way around town, I saw Jambette. So I buried her and burned her face.
When I was done, I went fishing. This is the only time that you actually want to catch sea bass, since they are among the largest fish. I caught quite a few before I caught one that was larger than Jambette’s, but I did eventually get one that was 41.2 inches long. Chip gave me an iris chair for taking over the top spot.
But the competition wasn’t over yet. So I still caught a few more sea bass. Just as time was expiring, I gave Chip a 45-inch sea bass to beat my own record. I won!
After some initial problems connecting, I finally got my gate open at 10:10 for Friday Night Forest. Yann and Megan came over. After a visit to the Able Sisters, we went to say goodbye to Eloise. She will be gone tomorrrow.
Then, Jon came to visit. I hadn’t seen him since
Before long, Jon left. It was just a short visit for him this time. The rest of us just hung out at town hall. Yann’s batteries died, so I pitfall’d her.
Jambette was out and about walking around all night, so we tried to avoid her as much as possible. At one point, I noticed the moon was nearly in the center of my “orange” constellation, so I took a picture.
Later, while walking around, I noticed a new black rose that I missed earlier when watering. Its parents were up on the cliff, but it was down below.
While I was talking to Del one time, Yann was inside of him for the duration of my conversation.
Later on, Megan dug up a pitfall seed. I had been walking right towards it (without noticing it), so she saved my life. 😛
We hung out on the peninsula for a while, fishing for fish that weren’t there.
Things were getting quiet, so I ended up closing the gate a bit earlier than usual tonight.
