Taking Katie Home

I continued to try talking to Del, hoping that he will change his mind about moving. Still no luck, though.

Del: I think I'm a "one big score" sorta guy, underwear...Katie was in my town, and her mother was in TZ’s town Hyrule. So TZ opened her gate so I could take Katie home.

Katie: WAAAAAAAAAH! Which way to Hyrule?I didn’t stay long in TZ’s town, but I did check out her obstacle course/maze. It was very, very pink, but had a similar layout to my own maze.

Lots of pink beds in TZ's obstacle course room.I returned home to Forest and enjoyed the northern lights (aurora borealis).

Friday Night Forest

Today I got a letter from Drift, who I met in Yann’s town Tropical.

Jeff! Did you have a sweet time in Tropical? You seemed pretty bushed when you left. How are you holdin' up now? Hope you come by again! -Later, DriftI watered my flowers and found one new black rose. Later on, I opened my gate. TZ and Yann came to visit. At one point, Yann was talking to Del, but Del’s snout went through Yann’s head.

Del's snout going through the back of Yann's head.We were discussing the term R&B (rhythm & blues) and listing other possible things that the letters R&B could stand for (other than music). Some of the better ones we came up with included rolls and butter, ribs and BBQ, rocks and boulders, rabbits and bunnies, rupees and bells, ranch and buffalo, ribbons and bows, rears and butts, rice and beans, and rifles and bullets. Yes, somehow we end up turning Animal Crossing into a word game sometimes. If you think of some good ones for R&B, post them in the comments!

Yann: rabbit and bunnies. Jeff: rupees and bells. T Zelda: rips and buffs.Around 11:00, TZ left and Bradley came in. We hung out in Peaches’ house for a while, and talked about Del leaving soon. My Yukon Cornelius Mii made an appearance, looking for the similarly-named Yuka, who we ended up trapping near the beach. Bradley saw a fish and caught it…it was a tuna! Nice catch!

Jeff says "tuna-riffic!" as Bradley holds up a tuna.We later went to my house, where we all were starting to get tired. I ended the party soon after this picture was taken.

Hanging out in my golden furniture room.

A Tropical Visit

Kid Cat apparently is no longer in danger of moving out. Why? Because now Del wants to move out.

Del: It's just about time I packed up my things and moved on, understand?I talked to him over and over, probably over 20 times, trying to get him to change his mind. But he never did. I think he’s a goner. 🙁

Later in the evening, my friend Yann invited me over to visit her town Tropical for the first time.

Yann: I caught something.. Jeff: A cold? She showed me her house…

Jeff, standing next to a toaster: It's nice and toasty in here. And I caught up with Anchovy, who moved from Forest to Tropical.

Anchovy: So, from now on, when you think "Anchovy," think "Tropical," OK, sugar cube? She gave me a tour of her town and I met all of her animals, except for Iggly, who was sick in bed.

Roccol: The name's Rocco. Tropical's nothing special, but I hope you enjoy it, hip hip!Kitty called me a cool foreigner! That’s a strange thing to say.

Kitty: Also, it helps me look more popular if everyone in town sees me with the cool foreigner! In Rhonda’s house, I noticed that her chair faces her mirror. So she can sit and stare at herself all day long, apparently.

Rhonda: Say, you don't look familiar... You're not from around here, are you, le horns?Jeff: Her chair faces the mirror.
