Friday Night Forest

Upon starting the game, I noticed Tortimer was out by town hall. I got a cool globe from him for Nature Day. So apparently Nature Day was today? But according to the bulletin board, it was yesterday. Looks like a little mix-up on Nintendo’s part.

Tonight was Friday Night Forest. Bushido was the only one who came. I haven’t been having many visitors the past several weeks. Maybe I need to replace some people on my friend roster. Either that or stop going on Wi-Fi every week.

Anyway, I finished removing the path patterns (with Bushido’s help). Some parts of my town look weird without the patterns. I’ve had path patterns for about two years, so it’s quite a change. It’s also strange seeing flowers and weeds pop up where my path normally is. Speaking of flowers, no new black roses today.

Chief tried to change my nickname to “bucko.” Even though I really dislike my current nickname “pop star” (ugh), Bucko isn’t much better. Hopefully they’ll propose a decent nickname soon. I wish I was J-Bot again like I was in late ’08. That brings back some memories…

It’s Wednesday…

It’s Wednesday, and that means Crazy Redd has new items, so I took the bus to the city to check them out. He had a deer scare, a warm painting, and a modern wardrobe.

A deer scare, a warm painting, and a modern wardrobe for sale in Crazy Redd's shop.

The warm painting was one of two paintings I needed, so I definitely bought it. I was hoping it was a real one, but had my doubts since most of Redd’s paintings turn out to be fake. But it must have been my lucky day, because it was real!

Blathers: Hoo HOO! Lovely! This is the warm painting!Saharah was in town looking for old wallpaper. I went around town, asking everyone (except for Pango, who I couldn’t find), but nobody had any! Not even one! But I did get a surprise when I went into Tipper’s house.

Tipper, with her furniture all packed up in boxes, ready to move out.Yeah, Tipper is all packed up and ready to moove out. Even though I didn’t care for Tipper much, I wish animals didn’t move out so frequently. As for flowers, there were no new black roses today.
