Friday Night Forest

Despite leaving my Wii connected to the internet overnight and all day (I use the Wii LAN cable), I still have not received my golden wallpaper DLC. Hopefully I’ll get it soon. I watered my flowers this evening and found two new black roses.

Also, Pango told me that she intends to move out. I didn’t object.

Pango informs me that she's moving away, and I tell her that's great.Later on, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. For a while, nobody came. But then Mike and T.Zelda came in. We were fishing for a big chunk of the time. T.Zelda caught three sharks and Mike caught one. I didn’t have any luck with sharks, but I did catch a barred knifejaw, which isn’t too bad.

It seems that all (or at least most of) the tree beetles aren’t out yet. I guess I’ll have to wait until July before I can really do some serious bug hunting.

After a while, Georgie also came in, so I had a full house again. We just hung out for a while, and then everybody left shortly before midnight.

Shark

I didn’t find any new black roses today, but a new blue rose popped up. That’s a nice (and rare) surprise. While walking along the beach, I spotted a shark and caught it.

Close Encounters

I took the bus to the city, since Wednesday is when Crazy Redd has new inventory and I still needed one painting. No luck, since Redd didn’t have anything I needed.

I went back to town and was making my rounds, and I decided to cut down a tree. But after hitting it once, a bee came out. I didn’t want to get stung, so I tried to think where the nearest house was. There was no house nearby, so after dodging the bee for a few seconds, I decided my only hope was to get my net out and take a wild swing. To my surprise, I actually caught the bee! Close call!

Catching a bee in ACCF.Later on, I noticed some bugs on trees. Since it’s June now, there are new bugs out now. I’ve always enjoyed catching the tree bugs, so I wanted to snag a few of them to start off the season right.

As I walked near the lighthouse, I saw something move on the ground…tarantula! I had completely forgotten tarantulas were now in season as well. I took a swing with my net, but I missed and it got me.

I pass out after being attacked by a tarantula.

So I passed out, woke up back at my house, and said enough was enough.
