When I started up the game tonight, I read on the bulletin board that the Bug-Off was held today. I walked over to Nat just a few feet away, and he informed me that Cube was the big winner. He caught a 49-point jewel beetle to take home the trophy. Congrats, Cube! 🏆

If you’re wondering about Scoot’s expression in that screenshot, it’s because he asked me to get him some vintage clothes and I declined. Sorry, bud. Maybe another time.
As for the Bug-Off winner, Cube, I ran into him over by the museum. The poor guy couldn’t stand the heat lately, and he wished there was some snow. Yeah, it must not be easy being a penguin in summer!

I went inside the museum and down to the Roost for K.K. Slider’s Saturday night show. I asked for a random song, and he performed “K.K. Mambo” for me. It’s not bad.

Back outside, Sydney was talking about hobbies. She said she was going to spend today (I guess she meant tonight) making macaroni art on her feet.

…or FuSydney?
I’m starting to regret her catchphrase, along with Antonio’s “up my nose.” But I’m too lazy to change them by reporting them at town hall. 😛
I finished up my night with a little bug hunt…but it was not going well. While I was finding plenty of emperor butterflies, I wasn’t seeing any rare bugs at all in the first half of my session. And once they did start showing up, I was messing up and missing some of them (including a tarantula and a scorpion that both stung me)! I only made about 130k in my hour-long session. It just wasn’t my night. I hope yours was better.
