Major Fruit Run

I had a great conversation with Monty the monkey tonight: He told me he was leaving town!

Monty: It's just about time I packed up my things and moved on, lone bone.

Lucy the pig was sick with a cold, so I bought some medicine for her.

I saw something of an unusual site tonight: A weed seemingly growing out of the cliff! At least partially.

After I finished making my rounds, I realized that I was just 120,000 bells short of 40 million. So I decided to go on a major fruit harvesting run, one like I probably haven’t done in ten years. Probably two-thirds of my town’s trees were bare by the time I finished!

Pockets full of coconuts, with many bare trees in the background.

But I ended up meeting my goal with fruit to spare. (The northern parts of my town were spared.) I now have forty million bells in the bank. πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°

Your current balance is 40,000,000 bells.

April Flames

Purrl dramatically asked me for a specific fossil tonight, the styraco skull. I agreed to help her out, just in case I spotted one. But the odds are never good when this happens.

Purrl: It will be the END of me if people find out I don't have a styraco skull.
It’s not that important, sis.

April is here now, and so are pink trees. But that meant it was also time for me to change out of my Mohawk McClover outfit. So I got my hair dyed brown at Shampoodle in the city, and then I checked Able Sisters for a new shirt to wear. I ended up buying this flame shirt. You know it’s πŸ”₯.

Since it’s Saturday night, I went up to the Roost to check out K.K.’s musical performance. He played SeΓ±or K.K. for me. It’s an upbeat, enjoyable song.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: Senor K.K.

After finding no villagers packed up in boxes with Kitty’s house remaining, I started to picture Kitty there, ready to finally move out… But when I went in her house, she wasn’t packed up. I was disappointed. πŸ˜› Maybe someday, she will actually leave…

With not much else going on in town, I harvested some fruit, sold it, and deposited 50,000 bells into my bank account.

Violet Arrives

My recent bad luck with primates and ugly villagers in New Horizons has carried over to City Folk. Violet the gorilla just moved in today!

Violet: Oh! Well, hello there! I'm surprised that I have visitors already, faboom!
You should learn when to go.

Speaking of ugly primates, Monty was asking me for a favor today…as Kitty walked into view. I thought it would be funny if he asked me to make a delivery to Kitty, and that’s exactly what happened! I turned around and handed Kitty the present (a table lamp).

Kitty: Thanks for the drop-off. And if you could deliver my thanks to Monty, I'd really appreciate it.
No trouble at all!

I turned back around, and Monty gave me a mosaic tile for making the delivery. Easy as pie!

Bones’ catchphrase “lone bone” has been spreading like wildfire in my town, and admittedly it’s not a good catchphrase to begin with. To help stop the spread, I took Goldie up on the offer when she asked for something new to say. I just told her to say “woof woof.” I know it’s not very creative, but the important thing is to squash this lone bone viral trend before it spreads any further.

Sorry for the short entry. But as you probably know, my gaming focus is now on Animal Crossing New Horizons. If you’re looking for more Animal Crossing content, please check out my ACNH Blog or check out my video series on Youtube.
