Autumn Moon 2017

I received Tank’s goodbye letter in the mail today.

'Sup Jeff, Today's my last day in Forest. Best thing I did here was be buds with you. I might be sweating in a different gym, but I'll always be lifting for you! -TankI spoke with Tangy, and she informed me of something that I didn’t even realize: Today is the autumn moon (aka harvest moon) celebration!

Tangy: Hey, Jeff! Guess what? Today's the Autumn Moon celebration!
By the look on her face, she was surprised too.

Midge was also in the area, so I spoke with her too. She asked me if I’ve seen the mayor yet today. Hmmm, what do you think?

Midge, standing next to Mayor Tortimer: Oh, yeah! Have you seen the mayor yet today, tweedledee?Since Mayor Tortimer was right up in my face, I chatted with him. He gave me a wheat bundle for the occasion of the autumn moon.

Tortimer: Here, sprout. Take this wheat bundle to celebrate the Autumn Moon festival!I didn’t take a picture of the wheat bundle, since I’ve shown it multiple times before. But if you really want to see what it looks like, check out this entry from 2013.

The grass is now yellowish and ugly (in my opinion) for October. To see how much it has changed, check out my crop circle patterns compared to the grass now. The crop circle blended in pretty well when I first put it in back in June.

Opal flips as she takes some cold medicine.I rode the bus out to the city, and I was quite surprised when I took a look at the new model room in the Happy Room Academy.

A small empty room as the model room at the Happy Room Academy. What was going on? I asked Lyle about the model room, and he said this month’s theme is the room with the most grown-up feel. And apparently, none of the rooms in Forest even qualified! So the empty room was just a default room for when nothing matches the theme.

Lyle: ...No rooms matched. None. Zero. Zip. Nada. Ixnay. You guys are bustin' Lyle's chops here!Later on tonight, I returned to the game to take a look at the autumn moon. Have a good night, everyone!

Tanks Away

I visited Dotty tonight, and she was talking about what kinds of parties we could throw. She suggested an iced coffee party or a zydeco dance party (whatever that is).

Dotty: Ooh! An iced coffee party sounds fun! Oh oh! Or a zydeco dance party!
You had me at iced coffee.

Today was Tank’s last day before he rolled out of town. He told me to take a good look, because he flexed for me one last time. 😛

Tank: Glad I got the chance to flex for you one last time. Check out these pecs, tank you!Midge was outside, rocking her bikini. Although I’m starting to wonder if she was trying to flirt with me. 😛

Midge, wearing a bikini: What do you think of this top I'm wearing? Nice, hm, tweedledee? She told me that Sophie from Solotown designed the pattern. I wonder if Sophie would be surprised that animals are still wearing her bikini after all these years.

I visited Tangy, and I hopped into her bed. As I jumped out, I temporarily merged into her face. It was like dunking my head into a bucket of orange juice. Sweet! 😛

Odd Place for a Tractor

I had a chat with Tank this evening, and he informed me that he’s leaving town. I didn’t try to stop him.

Tank: I've talked it over with myself, and I decided to bail and move out of town.
Tanks for the memories.

When I visited Midge, I noticed that her head matches her furniture. How lovely.

Midge's pink and white head matches her pink and white lovely furniture.Outside, Opal told me she locked herself out of her house and can’t find her key. Now she’s afraid she’ll never be able to nibble beet salad while dancing to heavy metal music again!

Opal: I'll never again be able to nibble beet salad while dancing by myself to heavy metal music!
Yeah, that’s a common problem.

I wasn’t interested in fishing her key out of the river, so I carried on with my walk around town.

When I visited Tangy, she acted as if she hadn’t seen me in years! She told me about how she was sick and lonely, and she had to take medicine she had lying around the house. ALL LIES! I gave her medicine last week! But apparently, once wasn’t enough for her, so she won’t even acknowledge that I helped her out. How rude.

Tangy: It was totally gross, Bro J. My nose felt like someone parked a tractor up there.
Do you even HAVE a nose?

Just after 7:00 this evening, I stopped to take a look up at the pretty, purple evening sky. My castle gate also added to the aesthetic appeal of this picture.
