When I visited Dotty today, I was greeted by an astronaut! Dotty has moved her Spaceman Sams around: They used to stand against her right wall, but now they’re in the front/middle of the room. One faces the door, while the other faces the back. Seems like an odd way to display your astronauts.
November is here, and that means several mushrooms can be found around town. One of them each day will actually be a piece of mush furniture. Which piece did I find today? It was a closet, if you mush know.
If your town has achieved perfect town status, you may also find a rare mushroom buried somewhere in town. It’s worth a whopping 16,000 bells, so it’s well worth the effort to dig it up. 🙂
I saw that Groucho’s house was still here, and Groucho was inside. He has finally packed up his furniture in boxes. He sure has taken his time moving out!

Twice during my time in Forest today, I saw large fish shadows in the river. Each times, I caught a pike. 🙂
Opal locked herself out of her house, but I didn’t feel like fishing her key out of the river. She’s an elephant. One night outdoors isn’t going to hurt her. 😛
Tangy asked me to play hide-and-seek with her, and I agreed. So I had ten minutes to find her, Kitty, and Opal.
I then went 7+ minutes of not finding anybody. But with two minutes to go, I found Kitty behind a tree in the southwest part of town. And with just one minute to spare, I found Opal behind the bulletin board. She was near the starting point…I should have seen her the first time! Oops!
Tangy gave me a mega echoid for winning the game.
A bit later, I overheard Kitty and Dotty gossiping about me! How rude!
Three minutes into the game, I found Samson hiding behind a tree near the fountain. Another minute after that, I found Static trying to hide behind a sign post!
I probably spent too much time taking the above picture. I was waiting for him to lean out just right, and I got too picky. But I continued on my search. I ran into Groucho, and he told me he was thinking of moving away. I didn’t try to stop him.
There was only about a minute left on the clock by the time I made a full circle around town. I still hadn’t found Midge, so I began a 2nd lap around Forest. But by the time I made my way back to Samson again, time had run out. I lost the game. So I didn’t get a prize, and Static told me nobody expected me to win anyway. Thanks, pal.

Benedict asked me for a fossil, so I gave him an apato skull. He rewarded me with 520 bells; that’s not very much for a fossil! Then, he said he’s going to sleep with the skull tonight. Uh, okay…
