I received my monthly letter from the Bank of Nintendo, informing me that I earned 99,999 bells in interest on my account. That helped my balance top 28 million bells.

While walking around town tonight, I spotted Pascal from across the river. I’m not used to seeing him from this angle!

I grabbed a scallop that was attached to a letter, and then went over to talk to him on the bridge. He scoffed at the notion of people going camping, suggesting they could just hang out in their garage for a weekend. He then gave me a keg, jumped into the river, and swam out of my life.

Anyway, now that November is here, you can find mushrooms scattered around town. Each day, one of them will actually be a piece of mush furniture in disguise.

Some of the mushrooms will be quite valuable. I found an elegant mushroom (worth 10,000 bells), as well as this rare mushroom (worth 16,000 bells) that was buried underground! The rare mushrooms will only appear if you have achieved perfect town status, though.

I found a new house in town, and it belongs to Opal the green elephant. Her mouth is on the side of her face (much like Dizzy).

Back outside, Rod asked me for a new greeting. I told him to say “Oh my Rod!”

When I visited Savannah, she asked me to catch a pill bug for her. I agreed to help, but it ended up taking me longer than I anticipated. I had to run all over town multiple times, banging every rock I could find. But eventually, I found her precious pill bug and took it back to her. She thanked me by giving me a kiddie carpet.

As I started up the game tonight, I found Alli’s goodbye letter in the mail.

When I spoke with Bluebear, she made it clear that she was scritchy itchy. That’s because there was a flea on her. No wonder she was feeling blue. I helped her out by catching the flea with my net. Savannah looked on from across the river.

I had a chat with Savannah, and she asked me to catch a fish for her. Interestingly, the zebra asked me to catch a zebra turkeyfish!

I then went fishing in the ocean to help out my favorite villager. A few minutes later, I returned with a zebra turkeyfish. Savannah thanked me by giving me a lattice wall.

I checked in on Benedict, and he was standing at the back of his room, hardly moving. It’s almost like he was his own gyroid!

When I visited Alli tonight, I saw that she had all her furniture packed up in boxes. She said I was just in time to see her all sweaty and gross.

I kind of like Alli, but I’m not really upset that she’s leaving. She’s had a fairly long stay here in Forest. Bon voyage, Alli! Later, gator!

Twiggy asked me to make a delivery to Broccolo, so I went searching for the mouse. Once I found him, I gave him the item (some ceramic tile). He told me that he loves presents…and men. Alrighty then.

When I returned to Twiggy and told her the news, she rewarded me with 520 bells. I’ve been noticing that amount several times lately. Is 520 the new 552?

I made a trip out to the city, but nothing was going on. When I returned to Forest, I ran into Broccolo again. He asked me to make a delivery to Tank for him. Tank was in his house, so it was an easy task. The gift was a one-ball shirt, and he really seemed to enjoy it.

I returned to Broccolo with the news, and he gave me a better reward: a gold stereo! That’s more like it!

Rod was locked outside of his house, but it was late and I didn’t feel like fishing for Rod’s rod. He’ll have to sleep outside tonight, even if he ends up being reel tired. See you all next time!
