I rode the bus out to the city tonight, and it was raining there. In fact, I was greeted by a bunch of umbrellas!

Of course it’s March now, and everything is turning greener. Including me. It’s my annual tradition to turn into the green-wearing Mohawk McClover each March, and this year is no exception. I’ll be dressed like this at least through St. Patrick’s Day.

Shortly after I returned from the city, it started raining in my town as well–so I was able to put away my watering can. And just like in the city, the animals pulled out their umbrellas…even Marina.

I had a chat with Broccolo, and he was afraid that he left his house without locking the door. He asked me to check it for him, and he told me if it’s open, I should let him know…on Tumblr.

Happy Leap Day, everyone! As I started up the game today, I got Mott’s goodbye letter in the mail. He said his biceps are too big for one town, so he’s taking them on tour.

Of course, February 29th doesn’t come by every year. Believe it or not, this is just the 2nd Leap Day to pass by since the release of the game. A message is posted on the bulletin board that points out the relative rarity of this date.

Villagers may also mention that it’s Leap Day. For example, Static was wondering why February wasn’t over yet.

Alli said that she loves Leap Day, even though it’s not really a holiday. She suggested that we should make it a holiday and name it after her. I’m not exactly sure how that would work.

Tutu wanted me to find her some trendy furniture; she says I’m the only one that can get it for her. She said not even the internet can help!

But when I tried giving her some furniture I found in the recycle bin, she said it wasn’t trendy enough. Oh well, I guess you’re not getting furniture from me then.

After I went up to Able Sisters to change my path pattern to green bricks, Chow asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek. I had ten minutes to find him, Twiggy, and Static. About 90 seconds into the game, I found Chow hiding behind Tutu’s house.

Up by Able Sisters, Tutu was asking me for a greeting…as a certain squirrel peeked out from behind the building.

And with two minutes left to go in the game, I found Twiggy hiding in the worst spot of all: Behind a sign post! It’s rather comical how animals think they won’t be found there.

For winning the game, Chow rewarded me with a mega quazoid.

The snow of winter melted on the 25th, and the grass is green once again. Unfortunately, Able Sisters was already closed for the night when I started up my game. So I was unable to change my icy blue brick paths just yet.

Mott the lion hasn’t wasted any time in finalizing his moving plans; he was already all packed up and ready to go. So we said our goodbyes. I could have told him I’d miss him…but then I’d be lion.

It’s Saturday night, so I headed to the Roost to check out some music. I asked K.K. for a sad song, and he played K.K. Western for me. Not exactly what I was expecting.

I listened in on a conversation between Broccolo and Marina. As he discussed plans for a picnic, Broccolo’s eyes turned yellow! He had yellow eyes! So help me, yellow eyes!

I took a bus out to the city, where it was raining. I found an open passage to the Reset Surveillance Center, so I went inside. Mr. Resetti himself wasn’t there, though: He went off to get a massage, his brother Don told me.
