Stinky Hits the Road

Last night, I was quite surprised to see a UFO fly by! It’s quite rare for me to see one when I wasn’t specifically hunting for it. It didn’t even cross my mind that it might be a UFO day! Fortunately, I had my slingshot in my pockets (not attached to a letter), so I was able to get it out in time to shoot it down. Bang!

Shooting down Gulliver's UFO.This was my 2nd UFO of the year, and my 30th overall. I soon found the spaceship part just south of Guest’s house.

The spaceship part on the ground.I got another surprise when I went into Stinky’s house. My stinky cat friend was all packed up and ready to move out of town! It’s disappointing to see him leave so soon, but that’s how things go in Animal Crossing.

Stinky: Be sure to tell everyone how burly I looked when I hit the road, in undies! When I started up the game today, Stinky was still in boxes. So I won’t get his goodbye letter until next time.

As expected, I found Gulliver and his UFO crashed down on the beach.

Gulliver and his UFO crashed out on the beach.

I had to speak to him about 20 times to get him to wake up, though! After I gave him his spaceship part, he gave me a matryoshka.

Alli was sick with a cold today, so I bought some medicine for her. She rewarded me by sneezing on me!

Alli: Ah... Ah... AH-CHOO!
Can’t you cover your mouth? I’d rather not be covered in gator goo.

Carpet Givers

There was a meteor shower in the skies over Forest tonight, so I stopped to watch it for a little bit. I managed to get this picture of two shooting stars on-screen at once.

Two shooting stars over town hall.Saharah was in town, looking for old carpets. So I began asking my villagers, and I was having an unusually successful night! Chow, Aurora, Benedict, Tutu, and Alli all had old flooring for me!

Alli: What great timing! I was about to go toss this one out! If you want it, I'll happily give it to you!And that’s without even asking Mac, since he was locked out of his house and I didn’t go fishing for his key.

I checked my storage and found an old carpet there as well. So I had six of them to give to Saharah (three at a time, of course) to get two rare carpets. She gave me a chessboard rug and a boxing ring mat.

Saharah: Here...a boxing ring mat. Very exotic... Treasure it. It is a very rare thing.Unfortunately, neither of those were carpets that I needed for my catalog. But it’s no big deal; collecting them all isn’t really a priority for me.

Tutu asked me to catch her a crucian carp, so I decided to do a little fishing. The 4th fish that I caught was a crucian carp, and I took it back to her.

Tutu: a crucian carp!Tutu, your “a” should really be capitalized there. Also, THERE IS A MOTH ON YOUR FACE!

She rewarded me by giving me a massage…chair. A massage chair from a polar bear. See you next time!

Alli’s Daily Routine

Twiggy was complaining about the lack of town events lately. She said it’s so boring, on Twitter.

Twiggy: It's, like, SOOOOO boring, on Twitter!Over by the river, Benedict asked Alli what a typical day was like for her. So she went on and on, describing her routine. She wakes up at 9 a.m., has coffee and cereal for breakfast (but the coffee MUST be from the Roost and the cereal can not have marshmallows in it). She then does some yoga.

Alli: OK, so after that, I do some yoga... But not enough to mess up my hair or anything.
What hair?

She continued, saying she has salad and fruit for lunch, but only organic stuff. She goes for a walk in the afternoon and then she has a piece of fish and some vegetables for dinner, followed by some chocolate for dessert.

Benedict was shocked (and even a bit disturbed) that she doesn’t eat more food throughout the day. Personally, I think she also eats a chicken or two, but she just didn’t want to scare Benedict off. 😛 But actually, I was surprised Alli went into as much detail as she did. This was one of the longest villager conversations I’ve witnessed.

When I visited Chow, he asked me how I caught all the fish there are, up a tree.

Chow: How'd you do it, boss? How'd you catch all the fish there are, up a tree?
There actually aren’t very many up a tree, so it wasn’t hard.

Outside of Nook’s, Stinky commented on my flame shirt. He wants one to wear when he goes to a concert, in undies.

Stinky: I gotta get some of those to wear next time I go to a concert, in undies. ROCK!I’m redecorating my basement for the first time in years. I moved my golden furniture out by Scott’s house; I’ll have him keep it in storage for me. Right now I’m just waiting on some ordered items to arrive, so I’m not unveiling it just yet.
