I went to the Roost to catch K.K.’s weekly musical performance tonight, and he played Señor K.K. for me.
I visited Alfonso, and he told me he’s started to take an interest in flowers. His favorites are cookie flowers, pizza flowers, and cupcake flowers. I think he may be a bit confused…
Outside, Broccolo asked me why I’m so good at keeping secrets. He asked if I was a spy! Silly mouse…I’m not allowed to answer that question.
Yesterday, I got a letter from Broccolo. He thanked me for the medicine I’ve been giving him lately, and he sent me a desert cactus as a gift.
Alfonso asked me to take a gift over to Static, so I agreed to help him out. Static opened the present, and it was a common floor. He called it an expensive gift…you have to love Static’s sarcasm.
Today, there was a new house in town! It belongs to Jay. As long as it’s not Jay Leno! Fortunately, it’s a bird instead.
I took a bus out to the city, and I saw my old friend Del there.
How rude! You’re just jealous because you don’t have hair! Actually, he wasn’t talking about me; he was talking about someone he saw coming out of Shampoodle before they got on the bus back to a town called Forest. Hey wait, maybe it was me after all!
As I boarded the bus, I saw a lunar delclipse.
I got Cousteau’s goodbye letter in the mail today.
The Bug-Off competition was held today, but I played much too late to participate. But the judge, Nat, told me that Alfonso was today’s winner, with a 59-point mantis.
I went by the spot where Cousteau lived. One good thing about him leaving is that I can finally fix my path back. His house was kind of in the way.
I went to the Roost to check out some live music. I asked K.K. for a sad song, and he performed Two Days Ago.
Broccolo was still sick, so I took him some more medicine.
Kitt asked me to make a delivery to Bunnie, so I took the gift (a shirt) to her. When I returned to Kitt, she rewarded me with a clackercart. But maybe her kid would enjoy this more than I would…
I had a chat with Booker at the gate, and he told me that Nat was in town (which I already knew, of course). But the interesting this is that he referred to Nat as the “bug master.”
